Jack is/was a greater champion. He is/was a role model for golfers and non-golfers for as long as Tiger's been alive. He's probably admired by more people than Tiger is (especially after the golf club in the Cadillac Escalade thing). He and Arnold were much of the basis for driving the popularity of golf's early growth. Tiger is always being compared to Jack. And Jack is a one of the most renown golf course architects in the world.
