Never been but saw a recent documentary where the city planners are fucking up the two primary reasons for going there.

It's been about a year since I was there. I love that city and try to find flights that connect through Schipol. Take the train into town, it's quick and easy.

Don't miss it. Lived there for a couple of years and it's great city.
If you go now, don't miss the "All The Rembrandts" at the Rijksmuseum. First time that all the museums Rembrandts are on display at the same time......won't happen again.

Crime rate up lots o Molukans lost of freeloaders but if you think we have problems with immigration take a good look at Holland and their socialist system close to 50% tax rate . Large % of population have second jobs that pay under the table to avoid Taxes. Was there I. The 90s when it was nice how things have changed

Stayed for a week at The Toren, wonderful hotel on a canal. $$$ though. Museums, concerts, food, canal cruises. Went on various canal rides every day, different companies have different trips. Opera is one of the best venues in the world. Walking city, trams are of good use for longer distances. Best steaks at "Black and Blue" on another canal around the corner from The Toren. Been 3 x spent about 26 days in the city. Be sure to take a model S Tesla taxi, they are amazing.

Grumpy, yes I do. Would be happy to share all my documentation with you. You are based in New Mexico? I will be in Santa Fe, August 9 - 19 booked into La Posada. They say this hotel is haunted, but on my several stays here, I have never seen the spirit. Read "American Ghost" for a more comple history. It is marathon week at the Santa Fe Opera, 5 operas over 5 nights. My 15th season. PM me and we can have breakfast downtown at Pascal's. Just wear your current outfit so that I can recognize you.
