I buy meat from Costco,
Brisket cooks at 275-300 for over 10-12 hrs
Ribs cook for 4-5 hrs same temp
Steaks I grill at 500 degrees for 12 minutes if any parasites survive that much heat , it’s on me.

Good thing I dont shop at Costco. Either way meat just doesnt taste as good when I prepare/cook it so I let others do that. I love a guy that can cook.

well done meat is like eating your soles
never had any bad meat myself from costco, but I still only cook it med rare at most

1. You should be happy they don't charge you extra for the worms, wigglies, etc. Cause it's more flavor.
2. Have you seen the kinds or wigglies you can get in veggies?? Sand too. AND the bacteria if their watering source is contaminated...remember all the lettuce recalls.
3. Grump, just give Rent the Spam cans that are a little puffed out...mmmmmm good, aged.
4. And ever seen that cheese with the little wigglies in it...IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE LIKE THAT! Mmmmmm...no wait, I think I barfed a little in my throat.
5.Notsofast, please show a reference saying Spam can cause AIDS. Hawaiians, Koreans, and Alabamians want to know...well the first two for sure.

I just reheated some ribs from Costco. I had them in the freezer, I brought them to my office and used the toaster oven. My coworkers are asking where did I get them

Might want to check the lettuce before that first bite. One of those young people probably decided to give you a Thurs. surprise. One of their off the menu specials.

Pescado, they were delicious. Messican style meat fall off the bone into a tortilla and I added Tapatio sauce. Worms didn’t have a chance.

cut all veggies on a clean board,
using clean knives and utensils.
then, cut your raw proteins...
fish, pork, shellfish, beef, poultry...
clean and disinfect with hot soapy water.
rinse 3x. never got sick.

deli meat counter. hot. take them home.
most worms will die in the freezer.

Saw a few minutes of a PBS show last night with Roy Choi (Kogi fame) talking about alternate sources of protein being better than meat. Things like worms! Some Africans and Asians eat worms.
