I choose not to believe anything that bezos has anything to do with

the intent was to destroy Al Queda, we stayed to prevent a power vaccum, we didnt support the original elements that couldve been utilized to stabilized the country. Using vietnam era policies with no understanding of Arab/persian culture and the effects of the Sykes Picot agreement, did our folly bear fruit to where it will be a never ending clash of ideologies. The Taliban of the Haqqani network are fighting the ISIS elements of Warzistan. Unless we go Roman, the only way to resolve these conflicts/war (prolonged action involving static defense points and a rural insurgency not like panama or grenada) is through compromise.

Afghan government not strong enough to defend itself. There will always be a group hiding out in Afghanistan radicalized and wanting revenge. It'll never end unless we take it over and impose democracy. Or, nuke it and make it the 51st state in the union.
