I’m over 50 and while I enjoy what has happened to my investments, I’m not a fan of the man. I believe in Country before Party and that our President should represent all of America, not just his base. I’d give up my tax savings to have a President that brings us all together rather than continuously dividing us. Just my 2 cents.

Nobody's personal beliefs have anything to do with the fact that the Senate is controlled by the Republicans and they will not toss him. Pretty simple.

Or they could hold onto the impeachment until the after the next election making it an election issue and an anchor on Trump. If Trump wins, the DNC would hope they get more seats in the Senate in the next election so they could actually convict. Or at least get 51 seats to have a “real” trial.
Would also allow the courts to decide on current issues re forcing White House employees to testify before Congress.
The GOP did something similar to Obama by withholding Garland’s nomination allowing the electorate to decide which party should get the nomination.

Impeachment is always Political, but it’s hard to deny that Trump has been obstructing Congress. Handing over zero documents all while instructing everyone with any knowledge not to testify. If he’s innocent then he should just have Mulvaney, Giuliani, Pompeo and everyone else testify under oath to prove it. Let’s get everything on the table and get it all over with already. I think they should’ve taken it to the Judicial Branch, at least for Bolton who claimed to have new evidence that hadn’t been brought up yet. I guess they figured the GOP would just stall it out any way they could and they didn’t want to wait because of of the 2020 Election. Pelosi probably wants to wait now because of McConnel and Graham’s open bias. Can’t say I blame her. They’re probably going to wait for Trump or Guliani to do something else stupid. It’s hard to believe that Giuliani is on Trump’s side sometimes.

Trump was and is completely unqualified and unfit for the office of president. He has demonstrated this every day in his unprecedented lying, tweets and other actions (giving away secrets to Sergei Lavrov in his first week!) and especially his disgusting & ongoing rally rants.
Although he couldn't prove it (due to deleted texts / DOJ policy constraints / obstruction etc.) Mueller made it very clear he solicited and received assistance from the Russians (as Nancy said "All roads with you lead to Putin). Mueller also laid out 10 justifications for impeachable acts of obstruction of justice. Trump also breaks the emoluments clause every day. He makes no attempt to represent anyone other than the plutocracy privately and panders to the disillusioned publicly.
Don't get me started on the other 1000 reasons he's bad for the country, planet, egalitarianism, deficit, democracy and America's standing in the world.
