I've been receiving them too. The party sending it ("May" from a yahoo address) knows your Hx handle and the email you used to sign up for Hx. The party puts your handle in the subject line, and then your handle in the body of the message. It's disconcerting because how did this party get this information? Hx should be notified about this.

Same thing. 3 messages to all 3 emails ive used over the years addressed to my current and old usernames. All from May. Just saying Hi or Hiya.
Wonder whats coming next and why this isn't a bigger topic on here. I guess its just starting ...

The Russians hacked into Yahoo in 2016. It affected 3 billion accounts. All that info went into the dark web.

Yeah I don’t have a yahoo account and that doesnt explain how they know our hx usernames.

None of my email addresses associated with handles were yahoo email addresses. It's simply that the party sending me emails has a yahoo email address.

Or they hacked hx and got the info that way since it’s happen to all of us (the yahoo email)

Got the same message in the yahoo acct I set up just for recovery on this site. No one else has it. I deleted the message but I have to ask: Did anyone open it?

There was no attachment to open. It's automatically readable in my Mail program without opening it.

I have not received the email.
I suggest do not open the email and delete.
It could be a phishing email or loaded with a virus.
It be possible that the sites SSL certificates are not up to date.

Any computer in between you and the server can see your credit card numbers, usernames and passwords, and other sensitive information if it is not encrypted with an SSL certificate. When an SSL certificate is used, the information becomes unreadable to everyone except for the server you are sending the information to.
If your on a pc you can right mouse click the site desktop and should be able to check to see if the certificates are up to date.
A company has to do it for h.x. and they do expire.
This is for every website in the world.. these certificates exist and you want to make sure there up to date when giving info.

I received 7 emails today header MAY.
One said " Hi cunt hunter"
I'm setting up a email filter to block it.
But yeah deff HX hack.

Did you ever use cunt hunter as a username? Seems like thats how they've been addressing us, by our usernames.

^^^ Same here, I just checked my email and saw 5 emails in my Yahoo inbox with the header May.
Did not open any message, moved them to spam, and changed my Yahoo password.

Maybe its malware from another source thats in your emails and somehow got your HX info. Definitely change your passcode.

Got the same email this morning. tried to google the sender but no hits. I blocked them hopefully we can figure out whats going on.

I received one as well. The message had my email from Hx and my handle.
A follow up email from the yahoo address suggested I follow a link to see pictures. The link goes to another adult site where they want you to create a login. It appears that they are attempting to lure Hx members to make accounts on this other site.

Are you sure you didn't use your private email originally to sign up? I have no evidence they have been able to get to an email address that I didn't use to sign up for an account for Hx, and I've had quite a few accounts in the past.
