I got a set of twin size mattresses for my kid's bunk beds. They came in a box and vacuum sealed in plastic - they assumed/expanded-to their normal shape when you cut the plastic open. It took weeks for the chemical smell of foam to go away. I had a fan going in the room constantly and the window open. I got them from a department store but don't remember the brand.
If you are sensitive to smells and/or worried about the chemicals that may be given off by this type of mattress, read what people say about the brand you're considering in reviews. Also Google this smell/released chemicals issue with these mattresses. I would not buy these again.
I'm curious what other people's experience has been.

I got the Purple and love it. It’s really the only one with something different than all the rest. They changed it up recently and added 3 models.

I got mine from the alley behind my home. It was in great condition except for the bugs and the tag was torn off. Ordered DDT dust from Amazon and took care of the bugs.

got one about 4months ago...a bed in the box. (i went with it, because i thought it would work with the adjustable frame better....think the reg beds would work just fine btw
it will suffice...don't like it though...get in the bed, and there is definitely sinking going on to point shit on the bed tumbling into you
supposedly has great edge support...NOPE
the sheets are cool...with the Tencel material...definitely cool or cold to the touch...do what I can to keep room or bed in the 61-degree range
the adjustable frame is cool...very good for reading or VRheadset surfing before bed
costco had it all for like 1500bucks...the company website had it for 2500

Zotto Sleep mattress is the most amazing bed I have even been in....In fact anyone that has been in my bed says the the very same thing ( of that is before I jump in with them) After that well, of course its even better. lol
They are made in Irvine and well worth the money. I love mine, I will never buy anything other than the ZOTTO

I bought a Ghostbed several years ago, and have never had a bad nights sleep since. It is so awesome and I would never go back to anything but a great foam sleep system in a box.

I'm with June.... I have two sleep number beds and I cannot imagine sleeping on anything else.
The ability to change the firmness at anytime really accommodates my back after decades of repeated abuse due to my job.

Sleep number 100% had them for 20 years. No flipping it, never gets a divots, easy financing. Best mattress ever.

The adjustable firmness is really what sold me. I hear firm beds are better for your back but I like mine super soft. Having the ability to change it means I'd pretty much never have to buy another bed again and their customer service is amazing . I cannot wait until it comes, I toss and turn so much (which is why I'm awake now lol) and I know for sure that I'll wake up alot more well rested once it comes. It also has a 100 night trial and the new ones are adjustable from your phone
Man! The mattress topper was 220 dollars (and that was the cheap one) lol I'll look on Amazon or target for onw (and let's not get me started on the $160 sheets).. like for that price those things better tuck you in and read you a bedtime story lol
I did get the frame but a secret My friend told me is to buy some plywood and cut it to where its exactly measured to the box spring you have so that the bed has a leveled flat surface to rest on . Said theirs have been working on it for years without an issue . Can't confirm or deny it but it's a suggestion

I had a tempurpedic for many years... good for sleeping but they suck for sex.... if you place weight in a specific spot like being up on your knees for canine it sinks in...
Recently bought a sleep number and I love it for both sleeping and sex... I adjust the firmness when doing the deed. I did go on the pricey end... but it was 0% financing for 3 years.

I wanted the cheaper model of the sleep number which was the c2. They had a deal online for $200 off which made it $899 or $1250 after taxes
I went into the store and tried it out and didn't like it. Was a lot firmer than what I wanted and also felt almost like an air mattress when softened.they have mattress toppers but it didnt help for me
Ended up getting the p6 and even though it was like $1000 more than the c2, it was so much more worth it. Could have gotten the i8 for $40 more which was even more soft but I like the little extra firmness in the p6. The bed also has the ability to lift your head or legs which is awesome for pressure on your lower back.
Essentially the lady gave me %50 because she liked me and instead if paying $2600 online before tax (and thats with the $500 deal) i paid $1860.
Overall I am VERY happy with My purchase and wanted to thank you all for your recommendations

I bought a second C2 after enjoying the first one so much.
I said no thanks to the mattress topper, the sheets and the base.
Bought the topper off Costco, used my own sheets and made the base from some plywood from Home Depot...half a day project to build.

I have a purple bed and I looovvve it!
Things to keep in mind
- is it heavy af! If you order , go ahead and add the delivery and set up service. I'm strong and this was a struggle for me..
-definitely had a smell after being opened. I am very sensitive to smells and had to let it air out for 2 weeks before I could comfortably sleep on it. I would compare the smell to a new bamboo pillow... maybe it's just me ??
-I like to rearrange my room a lot and this fuckin thing is a pain in the ass! It's floppy, not at all stiff, very hard to move on your own.
Other than that..
I live in Comfort City, USA!! Population, ME!

I believe that Sit and Sleep has all the bed in a box beds on display now so you can at least lay on them. I love my Simmons Beautyrest Black Plush Top Luxury Firm Mattress.
