Burnsie - In this instance I was spefically referring to Shawn Spicer and Donald Trump who lied about the number of people who gathered for the inauguration. To quote Spicer, “This was the largest audience to ever have witnessed an inauguration. Period.” His statement was utter and total bullshit, proven false with aerial photos of this and previous inaugurations. When Conway was confronted with the evidence and the actual facts, she simply called what Trump and Spicer said “alternative facts.” I guess because even people on the right might be uncomfortable calling it bullshit, even though they know that’s what it is.
Now go ahead and launch into your whataboutisms ranging from “what about Obama saying you could keep your own doctor” to “what about her emails.”
Anything to Avoid confronting the fact that your guy is the biggest, bullshittingest POTUS to inhabit the White House.

Anyone who doesn’t know that is an idiot and should have their voting rights removed. The fact that you are still talking about something she said about inauguration crowd size 3 years later is evidence she is good at her job.
At least she is directly employed by Trump’s Whitehouse... so you weigh what she says accordingly. That is very different than NBC/MSNBC that does exactly what she does except they do it under the guise of being an actual news agency.

Talk about propaganda. Sometimes you have to hate the player and the game. All of that is true... yet the the the strongest evidence to impeach the guy is a flimsy instance of implied “quid pro quo” for trying to get Ukraine to “announce” an investigation against a political opponent?
Are our government agencies, FBI, NSA, CIA, DOJ, not to mention the entire legislature....so inept that a pompous, narcissistic, limited vocabulary, TV star, bad hairdo, Tweeter has covered his Manchurian Candidate tracks so well... that the only prosecutable evidence available come from obscure innuendo. In 2019, where digital footprints are everywhere... the best they can do is this?

Of course lying about the size of the inauguration crowd isn’t a huge deal (although being caught doing so would be very embarrassing to most people). But I would have thought that lies such as Mexico paying for a $25 billion wall or everyone getting much better health care for much less money might be an issue for you. Apparently not.
Regardless, forget about crowd size or bullshit about who’s paying billions for a wall. You should be very concerned when any administration, one you like or one you don’t, publicly announces that there are alternative facts, or as another Trump surrogate said more recently, “truth isn’t truth.” Because once the public accepts that notion (and it appears many of you have), the long term consequences will be more damaging than anything that has ever happened to this country.
Our government has tried to use alternative facts in the past (e.g.,Gulf of Tonkin incident), but thankfully, Americans at that time had not accepted the idea that alternative facts (as opposed to the truth) were acceptable. In Nazi Germany, the public bought into the government’s alternative facts about Jews, causing the death of6 million people.
I suspect some of you are smart enough to realize that accepting alternative facts as truth (from your government or anyone else) is a really, really bad idea, but you just don’t want to admit it.
The rest of you? I don’t know, maybe you’re just really fucking stupid.

Anyways, the founding fathers were adamantly opposed to "Bills of Attainder", see link. Proceeding as you'd like is a violation of constitutional due process especially when your allegations are unproven. In other words, you can't impeach for acts done prior to election. You can charge him criminally after he's no longer President but you still need to follow due process, allegations and rumor are not proof of guilt.
As for Mueller, he didn't even write his own report and apparently didn't have much of a clue what was in it. Also, said that the Steele dossier was outside his scope, lol. So,he's not much of a source for anything. You'd be better off studying the IG report although nothing will cover what you're alleging.
You sound like a lefty version of those people alleging that Obama was on the down low gay and wasn't born in the US. Oh yeah, that was Trump!

Steele dossier was completely and utterly destroyed, the only parts that were true were those parts that were available in already public documents. What you're left with is a dossier paid for by the DNC to a "foreign national" which is clearly against the law if used in the manner it was by the intelligence agencies.

The Trump voters I know, don’t hate immigrants. They simply want a legal immigration policy that works, enforcement of the immigration laws already on the books and control of the border.
