Taxartiste here, nice to meet you.
I'd maybe think that perhaps as mentioned above, some of us might be window shopping or just planning ahead a day or so, not necessarily looking to see someone in the next hour or so. In that event I certainly hope providing the information or a short bit of your details would not offend you. I certainly understand some of you ladies are inundated with PM's but that is the name of the game here. Mostly luck of the draw, being available when the need is to be fulfilled.
However, if you prefer to not be bothered by the inquiries I'll be sure to not bug you, but some keep in mind you get more bees with sugar.
Sometimes I'll simply PM to say hello to a newbie or say something to someone I've seen before as there are relationships here. Heaven forbid if any of those ladies got pissed off because I PM"d them a pleasant greeting or something and they told me to piss of or they were irritated I'd like to to, because I'd drop them from my list.
Maybe I'm old fashioned, I know I'm old but for me this is not just an in and out transaction.

TA I don’t mind if someone says hello, ask for appointments. I do mind when someone’s says they like to meet, have a whole conversation with you, constantly text you and send you a a location you’re on your way for them to say “ oh nevermind tomorrow”

Time wasters are always gonna be out there. TA has some very good points and great suggestions.
But some people do like to window shop and even see how a lady responds. A few PM exchanges will tell a person if the other person is a good fit for him.
First impression, and for me, the second impression is even more valuable than the first. Since first impression can be misleading. I try not to bother a lady too much, since I know they get dozens of PMs an hour. But I do try to see if a lady is nice on her responses. I sometimes wait days for a response, so not to bother them.
