I also heard US will up it’s production to minimize price hikes.
Our production rate is at about 40% of our ability. We continue to import oil in order to tap world supply. Increasing to 42-43% will mitigate any significant price increases... unfortunately the oil companies don’t miss much and will probably increase for a short period just because they can.

Ive heard the oil shale alone could make up for the middle east lost production.
just another way to screw us with high prices.
