By the way... the vote has no legal strength. It’s more of a ceremonial vote. Kind of like Congressional impeachment.

Impeachment is a gun that shoots blanks. Although it does make a sound that folks hear. Like a starter pistol.

Our War on Terror started in 2001 has now been officially or unofficially lost. What a terrible waste of lives and destruction of cities etc. it only benefited the military industrial complex and some mercenary contractors.

While the Iraqi vote is merely ceremonial, the leaders have very little leverage to oppose it going through proper channels and stop getting foreign forces kicked out.
The. We will be fighting Iran, Iraq and possibly Syria on multiple fronts.
