Iran is not having a good week!
nancy and the squad will believe iran, so all is good
trump and his team have a knack for getting the libs defending the indefensible...typically against traditional american positions
seems like every day there is something big and awful they are siding with....leaves you shaking your head and afraid for america...whenever they get the power back.
i think nancy had a few dreams it was going to be her over the last few years of playing these games

This is weird. I when the plane when down a few days ago, I really didn’t feel bad for the passengers that died (STFU you didn’t either). It was just news.
But with the news today... I feel bad for them. Why is that?
Is dying from a mechanical malfunction not as bad as being shot down?
Dead is dead... right?

Liberals: "If Trump hadn't attacked Soleimani, then the Iranians would not have fired the missiles that shot down an airliner and killed 176 innocent people."
Truth: Soleimani and Iran shot down and killed 176 innocent people on that airliner.
yep...shooting down the plane is going to be blamed on trump
key up the next dem talking point
they made sure no americans were on it...so there is that
In 88 we shot down Flight 665, we did it, there is no dispute there, killed 274.
Iran can take this one, not our deal this time, all on them.

Dem candida Pete Buttigieg already suggested today that the downed plane is partially Trumps fault. AMAZING
How fucking stupid the Left becomes in critical moments when we need unity and support for the President and our Military. They are acting to protect Americans and interests in the region.
the left can and are petty fucking stupid
At some time I keep thinking that anyone with half a brain will finally see through the Democrat and Main Stream Media bullshit.....
Not EVERYTHING is Trump's fault......and not everything the guy does is BAD.
If he found the cure to cancer, the Dems would take up against him for violating the rights of tumors.

You have to have a rational moment to recognize you have been demented. The Dumbocrats have been lacking that rational moment. It is all demented, all the time.

It is now being reported that not one of the deaths of US Servicemen in Iraq since 2011was attributable to Soleimanis militias. Soldiers have only died there from ISIS.
Uh huh
The US soldiers who were killed by Iranian backed militias were primarily during the Bush led invasion of Iraq. Operation Iraqi Freedom. No matter how bad this was this should not be considered terrorism in the classic case as terrorism is directed at innocent civilians not military soldiers.

“ It is now being reported that not one of the deaths of US Servicemen in Iraq since 2011was attributable to Soleimanis militias. Soldiers have only died there from ISIS.”
🤔 I have not seen this reported anywhere before.
So the shaped charges that he was smuggling into Iraq and supplying to his militias for the sole purpose of using against American service members in up armored vehicles were unused, and ISIS just happened to use the exact same type of charges, that they magically acquired???
And to fit the future narrative, military experts were talking about how Iranian backed militias were using these shaped charges to kill American Soldiers, before Trump was even a candidate. Talk about covering your basis.....

I have a video of Trump firing the missile that took down that plane.
Should I post it on YouTube?
He did, she did, he didn't.
"Clinton is blamed for Benghazi as if she planned the attack herself. So shut up with complaints that Trump's decisions led to the plane getting shot down."
Two wrongs don't make a right.
^^ Obama isn't to blame for all the shit Iran does, obviously.
But $150 billion buys a lot of terrorism with no benefit to America, so that was predictably stupid.
Appeasement doesn't work, it only emboldens bad actors.
As for the downed plane? That's a disconnect as it's difficult to understand who benefits from this. What does Iran gain from killing 176 non-Americans?
It was probably an accident. Someone was nervous with everything going on and accidentally launched a SAM. I doubt it was a deliberate attack.
Sam, you are right. The problem is their form of government appoints an individual (Supreme Leader) for life. That person presides over every area of their culture. Government, Defense, intelligence, economic policy, Media etc... There is nothing in Iran this single person does not have control over. It is illegal to speak against him. This person (Only 2 in the last 40 yrs) is always a high level Muslim Cleric. High level cleric almost guarantees the person will be “older”, which also means new ideas are difficult to penetrate leadership. So change is slooowwww.
Iran not only seeks autonomy (which is reasonable) but are mandated by their faith to expand and convert, by force if necessary. That obviously presents problems for its neighbors who may practice different forms of Islam or worse, non-Islamic faiths.
Add to this their centuries old fight with Jews over preeminence in the region and control over Jerusalem, these conflicts are never ending.
Also, because of their rejection of western ideas, what was once a growing a vibrant people and culture is very slow to embrace new technologies, ideas and lifestyles that promote growth.
There is no end in sight. But their need to use their money and power to subjugate neighbors must not be allowed.
In the past our plan was simply to arm just about everyone in the Middle East so they can defend themselves against each other. That was a decent plan until the proliferation of nukes became an issue.
It’s our fault. In the 70’s, that region was important to us for oil. They crippled us (those old enough to remember the gas crisis in the mid-70’s) and we needed to protect our supply of oil so we ended up “in bed” with every one of those countries at one time or another.
Now their oil is not as valuable to us because we have many other options. As a matter of fact, we try (through sanctions) to keep Iranian oil off the market.
It really isn’t a fixable situation, with their mandate for expansion, our initial meddling and our continued meddling trying to prevent a 4th world power from emerging... it’s a mess.
And we are stuck with it ... mainly because we have close allies in the region that need protection.

The blessing of America is the free flow ideas. So we are ever changing. Not as fast as some desire, but changing. The fact that we can have a Trump and a Bernie and an AOC, an Obama, a Fox News and Drudge Report, a MSNBC and a Huffington Post is the greatness of America.
Sure we get on each other’s nerves... but we ultimately protect each other from our worst selves.
I agree, I believe they shot the plane down by accident as there was a lot going on and they did not know what it was. Doubt if they meant to kill a bunch of non-Americans. But I'm also sure they will deny they had anything to do with it, even if proven beyond a doubt.
Looks like they just admitted they shot it down.
There was no denying it, but they still did until they absolutely couldn't.
this is the crack...iranian people need to keep pushing
be incredible to see a successful regime change that would free the people and put iran on a different global path
Khamenei controls upwards of 200b....they could use some of this for the country and people...that would make up for the 150b obama game them and was wasted on terror
still would not get the peace prize though

Soooo, our troops are mercenaries now???
“Saudi Arabia is paying us for our troops. I said, listen you’re a very rich country. you want more troops? I’m going to send them to you, but you’re going to pay us. They’re paying us. They’ve already deposited 1 billion in the bank”.
This is 45 on Fox today. While I do hope it’s just his inartful way of speaking at play, and not that he’s really renting American troops, I can’t help but think that this is who Trump is. To him everything is something to get a profit out of, or get a win. It doesn’t matter if it’s the law, the constitution or people’s lives, as long as he gets a win. That’s what I’ve been saying about Trump: no empathy, no conscience, no reverence, no respect as long as he wins.
Weren’t they already there?
I thought that’s what pissed off Bin Laden. American troops in Saudi Arabia?
How much does Europe owe us for the last 75 years?
They are going to pay us in chocolate

"That’s what I’ve been saying about Trump: no empathy, no conscience, no reverence, no respect as long as he wins."
Watch the PBS documentary on Joe McCarthy for some eerie parallels. A good example of why the Dems should have gone for censure, they might have got enough Reps to cross the aisle and pull it off. With impeachment on the table, it's full on Jets vs. Sharks with no quarter asked, none given.
As usual, the Dems went for the Pyrrhic moral victory instead and we'll have to listen to the jackass bray another 4 years. Speaking in some obscure dialect of High Gibberish, it looks as though Pelosi caved and is sending the articles to the Senate.
By the way Gene, it's not healthy to let Trump live in your head.

“Pyrrhic”
I don’t learn new words that often anymore. Thanks Balls!

No worries, mate. Note the Parthian shot at my exit.
