I think Trump had a reasonable concern. The Judge’s national heritage and possible impact of the decision on extended family/friends could be an influence in his decision. Is he a clumsy Goon in the way he often expresses himself? That is a given.

No argument there... that was racist. And... that was also the culture of the time. There were thousands of such law suits across the country. We weren’t that far removed from the civil rights movement. Particularly in NY there were still MANY racial and ethnic neighborhoods. And because of the racism of the country... the racial make up of the neighborhood contributed to the value of the property. So... in that case... I believe it was less of a “I hate blacks” and more of a “I love my property value.” So... that wasn’t’ a Trump thing... that was a cultural battle that was being fought throughout America at the time. Shoot... I have black family members that won’t rent to some black families.

Again, we are talking about how making money was/is impacted by race. I don’t think Trump personally cared what color a dealer was... or he would have never allowed them to be hired in the first place. I think he cared about what would bring gamblers to the tables and once there, what would keep them there the longest. Should he have forgone moving a dealer because of a racist gambler? Sure. But thats easy to say in 2019 when it has zero impact on your bottom line. And by the way, I’m guessing that was a lower level decision made by the floor manager/pit boss. Although, I also imagine Trump was fine with the decision.
