A lot aftermarket speakers are probably better than the ones that came with your car. Most cars come with basic cheap speakers so if you go to a stereo shop or even some Best buy's that do installations you could get speakers that will sound way better than what you had. You might as well replace the set, so say your front driver door went out you would replace both front doors so the sound matches. I personally would replace all the speakers since you are already going to be doing work to them. It would upgrade your sound and let you dance like crazy lol
Here's a an example of what I'm talking about I just copied off an article comparing speakers
Premium aftermarket speakers also tend to be engineered better and constructed from higher quality materials than factory speakers. Most factory speakers use surrounds that are made out of foam and paper, which deteriorate over time. When speaker surrounds wear out, the sound quality drops significantly
Good luck. Search Yelp.

Thank you.
I am going to be looking around.
I know someone might know of a good spot to see what they are talking about.
I’m thinking of going with the Apple car play (I think that’s what it’s called)

I had a cute car. YES, CUTE.
1974 Ford Pinto Wagon. Wagon. Why?
fold down the rear seat, sleeps two.
i upgraded the stereo as soon as i got it.
Pioneer stereo tape deck (yes, cassette tape),
swapped out speakers in the door: 3-1/2"
and added 6"x9" speakers in rear panel.
oh, killer sound... killer disco sound!

Just be glad its your car speaker!
There's girls on HX whose OTHER box is BLOWN OUT.
Its like throwing a hot dog down a hall way.
A long, dark hall way.

You can get Siri to do a lot of the stuff that Apple CarPlay does.
If your iPhone is already linked to your car speakers via bluetooth, you can just tell Siri what to play without looking at or touching anything.

Replacing the speaker - just match the size (dimensions: 6" or 6" x 9") and, very importantly, the impedance - the 'ohms rating.'

Al_most_perfect... it does connect with Bluetooth only for phone purposes, none music related. I got excited thinking that I can by pass the Apple car play.
Socaliam... that was almost gibberish, lol, I just want the rattling to stop. I’m thinking just speakers too. Lol

Blown out speaker ?... what kinda music you jamming in your car?
Dont have recommendations on a fixed speaker in the car other than the notion that a bluetooth speaker is an easy alternative which goes wherever you go, not just in the car.
I have a bluetooth connection between my phone into my car stereo system. Works for phone calls, music I play from my phone, and even business Skype meetings while I'm driving.
Once you have a bluetooth connection from your phone to a bluetooth capable speaker or car stereo system you can use it for any audio source you phone can access.

I am going to get an estimate on a couple options.
I did get some pms, thank you!!!
I will be back home in SD this afternoon, but I am price matching and what not. If you are in the la/oc area I am willing to drive back and get the job done here, if it makes sense.

good you are getting some quotes.
If you have a few minutes, just for comarison sake, and to educate yourself on your options - check out:
http://crutchfield.com/
They have been around FOREVER - and you can see what they charge for a given speaker size/ specs and make a better educated choice on getting it done (if that's the route you take).
Just plug in your make & model - and it will tell you what type of speakers will fit stock & a range of options.
And if you are handy - you can order & do yourself - or get a good idea on how much a local shop is charging for labor/ markup on speakers (most cases, go with pro install)

Remo.... Thank you! That was really helpful. I like to do it myself most of the time. So that will help with the start of it.!
Yellow.... I have done that, I even made it to being only my back speakers, I just can barely hear it. I am going to get it fixed soon. I have my "me" time in the car so I need my music. lol
