And since our profiles are public
It takes a picture of our profile and now you can Google search your handle or if u have ur phone number in profile it will lead here.
But it usually wont be recent info, it will be whatever you had in your profile. When the picture was taken.
I had to wait almost a year for my phone number to get off Google and what I mean by that is Google took a picture of the internet>my profile>my number
So when I was using my personal number here my friend mom googled my number and lead to this site.
And.. Yea not cute afterwards.

Of course, there is the Terms of Service, and the interpreted Terms of Service. Most of the things that people call out as being against ToS, are not even mentioned in the ToS.
I suspect this is one of them.

Agree with camper and Gina--many times when someone says something violates TOS, it is a stretched personal interpretation and many things that are sorta accepted as rules are more arbitrary community agreements not actually found in TOS
TOS also has many head scratching parts--basically everything is forbidden. Like the section in this blog--if you are reading this on a web browser,you violate it because it is forbidden to display any content from the site, or to copy it (web browsers make a copy on the screen and in cache, you bad boy or girl!)
You are probably breaking the "no translation" rule too since you are telling your browser to interpret HTML and Javascript and image encoding to render the site for your viewing pleasure.
Similarly, HX is on the web, so publishing, transmitting and broadcasting is the purpose of the site, but set that aside. And a lot of the content is made public by the site's design and choice. But suppose you access the site using WiFi or a mobile network--causing all content to be broadcast and transmitted on your own network. You rule breaker!

My guess is that the intent of TOS in this instance applies to posting outside of the site.
After all, screenshots are regularly published here for various reasons, and I don’t know of any restrictions because of that.
