I like Bill Maher. I watch almost every week. He is usually pretty honest as long as you consider his bias. His analysis of issues is both right and left
And he is partially correct about Trump and his followers. I agree Trump isn’t always presidential. Often Sophomoric and selective on the information he believes. His supporters do privately cringe at some of what he does, but that is only because we live in a political culture where any admission is seized upon by the other side as a nullification of everything else.
Bill wants Trump supporters to feel like there is something wrong with them because they support Trump.
For me, there is something wrong with the Left simply because they haven’t given me a better alternative.
Maher made the point in that piece. The best option you offer me is a declining Joe Biden? I would love a better option than The Donald. He embarrasses the shit out of me sometimes. But he is doing the job. To this point the best the left has to offer hasn’t been even close to good enough.
Is there really a President Obama... or President Bill Clinton... Or President JFK in this current crop of candidates.
Who’s up next? AOC?
No thanks. I’ll stick with Trump until you give me a better option.
Bernie? Elizabeth? Mayor Pete? Amy? Joe? You have to do better than that.

By right and left I meant he obviously criticizes the right.... but Maher also tells the left when he thinks they are doing it wrong.
