as for backgrounds and texts you need to have a little html knowledge or get help from someone who does

use Paint tool to resize. Simple and the tool come with op system on compute.

right click on the image to see the original size of the image, say it's 6mb. so you want to resize it at least under 3mb.

import image to Paint too, click on resize and a menu will appear. type in 50 in either "horizontal" or "vertical" box.

save and try upload. if still too big, try again with the original image and resize 5% more by entering 45.

you need to be on a computer or laptop to do the human icon right

and for resizing

I typically just take a screen shot of my pic and and shrinks it. but I still waste space in my albums cause I could shrink it more.

You can also use the following to resize pictures:

Windows Photo Gallery
Microsoft Office Picture Manager

When open up an image through Windows Photo Gallery go to Open and use the drop down menu to use Microsoft Office Picture Manager or Paint
