The big after party put on by the Grammys is at the convention center. After the Grammys are done everyone just walks on over. With in that party, other people and labels hold smaller private parties. You can�t get into the Grammy party at convention center unless you have ticket for the after party and also a ticket to the Grammys. Tickets aren�t sold to the general public. There could be other smaller after party�s at clubs by whomever.

I think the Blacks made that shit up and NOT the Asians as was reported. Now, it is widely believed ASIANS were saying Prolly far longer than the Blacks, but its rappers actually wrote the word on paper and gave it the meaning it has now.

Grammy’s bigger than the Oscars bc the music industry is bigger; think how many songs are released each year, in so many different genres vs. movies made. However, in terms of prestige, I’d say the Oscar is bigger, bc there are fewer winners. The spread of wealth is also much greater in the music biz, where you have super stars who can make $250 million or more from a couple of years of touring (ie Taylor Swift, Rolling Stones, U2), but only a few actors can match that from their movies (Tom Cruise, the Rock).

Several years ago, I was lucky enough to go to the Grammy's and also went to the cool after party. You try not to be a tourist but it was tough not to, seeing all the famous people.
No I didn't get on TV, I wasn't that close but it was cool to be there and hang out at the after party.
