Is NC a good state to retire to?
|
|
I'm a hummingbird fanatic.
The link below I recorded in mt back yard about five years ago. I think they were migrating and stopped for a meal.

Louc and Lamar, yes NC is an excellent state for retirement..Many of my friends from NY move here too to save on taxes and buy larger more spacious properties for less. Lots of nature. Thx for humming bird link..Looks like the backyard was the perfect meetup spot for hungry little birds.

What is the average home price in NC?

The best bird trails in O.C. would be the Bolsa Chica Wetlands in Seal Beach, CA. Good place to watch birds.

Reaper, TY. I will check out the wetlands.

You welcome my dear.

Guess I wont be doing any travel or nature sites for a while. I can only look out in the yards of the neighborhood I walk in to see birdies now. So looking forward to when everything opens up again.

Tucker Wildlife is pretty chill, there's a quiet enclosure where you can listen and watch several species of birds.

San Juan Hot Springs (technically Riverside...)

If you want to test your hiking skills then go for Modjeska Peak.
