The house articles of impeachment are shit. They should be able to lay out the case with what was already submitted!! They have nothing and will continue with the waste of tax payer money. Fucking cooks.
that's the way they're supposed to be, but schitt and pillosi know they have no case

John Bolton has the receipts.
He’s a notorious note taker (for those of you who never understood what that means it means he writes stuff down and records it for accuracy, history and reviewal)nd eill bring the notes.

Reportedly a very high percentage of Americans believe witnesses should be called. That as many facts as possible are brought to light in the Senate as well as to the public. With this momentum building for witnesses there is a good chance it will happen.

Thank you sam.i.am.

I always felt the Republicans should just admit the quid pro quo and argue that maybe Trump deserves a censure but not impeachment.
I agree that they should have admitted quid pro quo from the beginning. The only thing that would make that illegal is if it were only to damage Joe Biden. Although people think that (I do), proving it is almost impossible.
To deny Quid Pro Quo, then have it confirmed by eye/ear witness testimony as reputable as Bolton degrades the rest of the argument.
Ole Mitt Romney is loving the chance to stick it to Trump.

How many tries at the impeachment goal do you get on one president?
If he survives this one, can we try again later this year?
Balls... it’s better to ask
‘How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? al One.... two.... three...”
Fuck it.... just bite it!

Arent we allowed to just blame O.J still for things.?

It is a little surprising that the Democrats aren’t bringing up the fact that there was bipartisan support for removing Ukraine prosecutor Viktor Shokin, not because he was going to investigate Burisma, but because he was not rooting out corruption. The bipartisan support was even documented in a letter signed by the same republicans who are calling for an investigation.
Their narrative is bullshit. Trump knows it. The Republicans know it. See the links below.
And the bullshit Trump is spewing about the DNC server being hidden in Ukraine was fabricated as disinformation by the Russians. It was debunked by multiple US intelligence agencies. But Trump has publicly stated he believes Putin, not them. And you’re okay with that!
Unfuckingbelievable.

you brilliant civics majors don't understand, he's already been impeached, but he will not be removed from office over political bullshit
according to al green and mad maxine, they're already working on impeaching him again, making him the only president impeached twice, or even three times if they can fit it in
none of it matters, he'll still be re-elected in 2020

I guess nobody in the Senate gives a fig that the majority of Americans wants witnesses.
Will of the people be damned.
The heat being generated by this furious circle-jerk is astonishing and clearly contributes to global warming.
I'm very concerned.
“Will of the people be damned.”
Bigskr..... that’s exactly the conundrum we/they are facing. If this is a political process.... then the will of the people is important.
If this is about fairness/justice/the constitution... then the “will of the people” should be irrelevant.
Trying to arrive at a “just” outcome in a process that has been so politicized (by both sides) is probably impossible.
That is one of the reasons I don’t think every American should vote. Please know something before marking a ballot. But setting fair standards to qualify a voter is also impossible .... and unconstitutional... so... I’m shit out of luck. Our elections will continue to be decided by appearance, name recognition and sound bites.

Impeach again?... even if he's legally acquitted?...
My dear God please... 🙏
How does that not become complete and thorugh abuse of power on the part of Congress. They really want to walk out of this past 4 years able to say they have done nothing... I mean *** NOTHING ***
This completely bi-partisan Impeachment is nothing more than saying.. "a-ha... I spit in your eye Trump!, because I can"
And they would really go through that again and put another half baked set of articles together?...
Thank god for laws pertaining to double jeopardy

^Curious to know your thoughts on Repblican support for the removal of Shokin back in 2015. See links in my post above.
The need for an investigation into Biden is at the heart of your argument. Yet the Repubs were on Board with what he was doing.
I agree there is no new evidence to suggest the impeachment is legitimate, but Trump does not do himself any favors by saying things like it was a perfect phone call.
Apparently the way the Republicans are trying to avoid Bolton testimony is to basically say it i is true and redundant . They are saying that there is a quid pro quo already in the evidence record. Therefore his testimony is not relevant. And that even if true it is not impeachable.
Sounds pretty accurate.

Gina - “didn’t read” and then proclaiming you unwavering support for a Trump second term sounds like you are saying you are not informed and have no intention of being informed.
Seems the best decisions are made from a position of being informed, not of being ignorant. Yeah, it takes some effort to sort through everything and employ critical thinking to assess what to believe and what not to believe. But simply choosing to ignore information, I dunno, seems like not the best way to go. But to each his/her own.
Anyway, I still think you’ve got great tits.

Me or MW?

"Seems the best decisions are made from a position of being informed, not of being ignorant. And the "best informed" would vote Democratic, correct, according to you, or at least to other lefties who claim they have "science' and "facts" on their side?
If that's so, claiming to be the "best informed" is just another political talking point the left likes to use to somehow claim they have the superior position.
Honestly, I think the most important thing is for people to vote their own interests, and you don't need to be highly educated or knowledgeable to do that.
And my interests are to vote Trump 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023...

If this was reversed and these allegations were against Obama and he was up for being kicked out of office and there was someone IN THE ROOM who was told to his face that by the President that he was holding up aid to get an investigation on a political rival. You REPUBLICANS, Fox News, Lindsey Graham would be loosing you mind! If you say NO you're a damn liar!!!
Every President puts conditions on aid......it has been happening every since foreign aid was first given. We are not that altruistic that we just give billions to countries around the globe.
We have conditions, requirements, expectations, etc. No one just hands over pallet of cash to a foreign government...oh, correct that, we did have a very recent President do that....
Dude you clearly haven't watched any of the hearings.
When other Presidents have withheld aid THEY ALERTED CONGRESS FIRST!
OMB is fine with what was withheld.....and how long.
Dude....what has been presented at the hearings is what has been barfed up for the past 5 months.
Again dude you haven't watched any of the hearings.
The Government Accountability Office (GAO) said in a new report Trump administration broke law by withholding Ukraine aid
Obviously there is a difference of opinion among government offices.....
Watching these hearings is like watching grass grow, paint dry, and flushing valuable hours in the toilet. Still no impeachable offenses with facts. Senate will acquit and I guess the House can impeach again and again and again....all the while Trump gets stuff done....
Trump is the most corrupt individual to other hold the office.
How can you comment on info related to the hearing if you haven't watched them?
If the GOP members of Senate doesn't allow witnesses this is a cover up and a sham trial.
There hasn't been a Senate trial like this with them the Senate hearing from witnesses.
Dude the Dems just did a sham House impeachment. You got no leg to stand on.
Dershowitz reportedly was willing to admit a quid pro quo but that digging up dirt on an opponent to get re-elected would be in the *public interest * I do hope these reports are inaccurate as it flies in the face of the US Constitution. It is frightening to follow where this logic could lead.
Lol I'll run for president next time someone begins an investigation on me.
So I guess now that Netanyahu has been indicted on corruption charges Trump will put a hold on the $4 billion we give to Israel every year until there’s an investigation. Am I right? Clearly, he is against giving US aid to countries where there may be corruption. I mean, the Prime Minister just got charged with corruption, do its goes to the highest level of the Israeli government. Or can you now admit your argument about his interest in rooting out corruption is bullshit?
The House did no sham trial unlike the Senate they had relevant and compelling witnesses that pointed out CLEAR wrong doing by the administration. You should have watched some of them.
If you can admit the impeachment was bullshit.
Btw the "TRIAL" is only done in the Senate.
I tried, but it was behind closed doors. And only the Dems got to call witnesses.
What is BULLSHIT is everything Trump has done and said while President.
And you Republicans either eat it up or just ignore it.
He is guilty as HELL!
If he's not guilty was is he trying so hard to not let anyone testify and not release any documents.
The GOP Senate is now Trumps new fixers!
Lol you said trial, not me.
Everything's dems did is bullshit!
