It should be noted Republicans Mitt Romney and Susan Colllins where on the right side of history voting for witnesses and documents.
49 other Republican Senators just participated the one of the biggest cover up in American history that will have a lasting effect on the power a President has to do whatever the fuck he wants with Trump now and with future Presidents.
Fair minded Républicains should ask yourself if he did nothing wrong why is Trump and the Republican Congress members trying so hard to not let us see the documents and hear from the witnesses that have direct knowledge on what happened.

Dude, it's not rocket science.
The House impeaches using whatever evidence, documents, witnesses they have. They chose not to go up against Executive Privilege to get witnesses they wanted like Bolton although, as in Nixon's case, i think they would have won that one.........but they chose not to take the time to do so.
The Senate reviews the impeachment case and votes. There is no requirement in the Constitution OR Case Law that witnesses be called. In fact, if you've ever been in court, you would know that there are many cases where witnesses are not called and the case depends solely on documents and other evidence for the judge and/or jury to arrive at a decision.
Nancy went against her own words earlier about needing a bipartisan impeachment and fucked it up.
There really was no case anyway based on process and law.
You just don't like the guy, neither do I, but I wouldn't fuck everything else up just to get him out.
You have that option in November by voting.
In bigger news today, the DNC is now changing the rules to allow Bloomberg in so they can fuck over Bernie..........again

If the Republicans had of allowed all the witnesses and documents it wouldn't have been a cover up but it would have been partisan.

We already had witnesses....17 of them and countless thousands of pages of documents....all of which was one sided and no witnesses requested by the defendant, nor cross examined by the President's lawyers.....
So don't spew this shit there were NO witnesses or documents.....all of the House shit was observed or read into testimony in the Senate.....
Didn't need any more witnesses, since the House had an air tight case...or at least that is what Shifty Adam told us..

I suggest you read a history book on the responsibilities of the house and the senate in regard to impeachment proceedings. it is the responsibility of the house to call witnesses, NOT the SENATE. Also, read the chapter on the Clinton perjury under oath impeachment:
1 what party controlled the house?
2 what party controlled the senate?
3 what was the outcome?
4 finally, what similarities do you see in the current impeachment?
bonus= what happened to the house and senate in the following election?

Dude, Lets just say for a minute that ignoring congressional subpoena's was a impeachable offense. How many times did the House hold Eric Holder in contempt for not complying with their subpoena's? Clinton lied to a Grand Jury and the American people which is a High Crime. If the House actually did a competent job during the impeachment proceedings the facts and witnesses would have all been laid out for the Senate trial. The House rushed through the impeachment process. Its not the job or requirement for the Senate to add more to the House impeachment. Its their job to take the work the House did and vote on it. Simple.
If the House had done a good job in the first place maybe the Senate would have had those witness testimony to consider. If the House had actually put together a winnable impeachment maybe the outcome would be different. I don't blame the Senate for rejecting a flawed and empty impeachment. I blame the House for wasting so much tax payer money. I may not be a Trump lover but I do respect the Constitutional process.
