I went to Miami about thirty years ago for a Caribbean cruise. The Cuban food is fantastic.

There is nothing good about Orlando.
Miami has good Cafe con leche.

Go to the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando...
It's like piece of Heaven on Earth, just amazingly beautiful everywhere around the property...
Of course Disney World in Orlando as well... They also have their version of Universal Studios in Orlando as well...
Miami is totally different...
Cuban culture --- visit Calle Ocho in Little Havana  Versailles Restaurant is a must there...
South Beach is the best night life ever
Key Biscayne is just awesome... Go to the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne
Fort Lauderdale --- Take a boat cruise through the canals and you'll see more Yachts than you can ever imagine

Make sure you visit "The Coral Castle" it is really cool!!

I lived in Ft.Lauderdale for 10 years, go there.
Skip Orlando, visit Miami for a day or so and go back to Ft.Lauderdale.
You picked the perfect time to visit south Fla.

If you are going to be in Orlando, you oughtta get over to Tampa. IMO they have the best bars in the country!! The girls are friendly and beautiful and fun!! You won't regret it.
I used to have to go to Tampa often for work, and I'd force myself to get up in the morning after a full 2 hours of sleep !!!

Florida is where people go to die, so you should visit a mortuary, a cemetery and a dementia home.
After that, you can pick out a manatee from the tank for dinner just like a lobster. Tastes like chicken.

I agree with Fort Laudy ! Lived for there 2 years, great place to visit even more so than Miami in my opinion .
