I haven't watched any awards for about 15years and counting now.. I really don't want to be told by these people about the world, society and how to live my life.. no thank you. I have the feeling that I am not the only one here..LOL.

The academy is filled with old people who vote the same way they always do. Plus a majority of them admitted they dont watch most of the movies out there and just stick to the genre theyre used to watching.

Haven't watched any of the awards show in years. Why would I care about an industry party when I'm not even in that industry?
That being said you might like Ford vs. Ferrari great film about Carol Shelby and how 'The ferrari killer' GT 40 came about and how Ken Miles was screwed by ford. Really a great film.

How many of you even have the ability to watch live TV? Channel's 2-13?
Most people just have Netflix..hulu.. and Amazon prime these days..
?
I can watch episodes on NBC the day after they aired on nbc.com..

it was really good...not sure 4 oscars good, but i can understand the reasons behind it
good for korean drama and movie industry...i got hooked back in 2016 and barely broke out of the grip...the election broke me out  kinda wish i can get back into it...helps that the girls are cute
had a few friends that wanted to go off to film school and told them to watch some korean drama...they are masters of emotion on small budgets.

Oscar TV ratings down again.
When will celebrities understand that people watch crap like that to be entertained... not preached to about their personal political agendas?
It’s like the NFL/Kaepernick stuff from a few years ago. I had no problem with his issue. I actually agreed with him. But I watch football for amusement (a-muse... not think). It pissed me off that he was fucking up my amusement with his social agenda.
Oscars... get up there... get your little statue... say something funny and or entertaining and get out of the way.
