personally could care less, but blago is a dem, so there is probably something in the making
What is Trump doing that for? Big mystery to me.
Trump has his own mind. He has his own sense of right and fair that doesn’t line up with a lot of people. He usually has a plan/strategy ... But I think the Blago thing is just him dealing with something he thinks was disproportionate.
Methinks Trump sees a kindred crook and is hoping some future President takes pity on him down the road too?
Maybe Trump makes him his Celebrity Apprentice!
^true dat.
^^Rod was already on Celebrity Apprentice in 2010. The reality show continues.
^ Right. Trump fired Blago.
Maybe Trump is setting Blago up for 2024.
Trump had second thoughts and thinks Blago is his apprentice slav-nig?
He did 8 years. That was enough
Kindred spirits. That’s probably what attracted Trump to Blagojevich.
As already said by GoBallsDeep.
Blahsonofbitch!
If you look at these 11 shit bag's convictions almost all of them got nailed for fraud, corruption, obstruction of justice, and conspiracy.
Sound familiar?
All are his friends and acquaintances.....or connected to his friends.
2 are reality show losers just like him.
Michael fucking Milken is the corrupt cheating scumbag that made bone spurs and his friends rich in the 80's....just look at the names of those trying to get that POS off.
He's pardon these miscellaneous motherfuckers so when he goes to pardon Manifort, Stone and anyone else that refused to testify he thinks it won't look so bad to his base.
Wasn't Rod Blagojevich a constant on the Apprentice?........you can't make this shit up lol
.....the next thing you know Trump might pardon Bernie Madoff. He's supposed to be in jail for another 145 years.
Oops ...........there is it!
You fuckers have a very short memory. See who Obummer pardoned during his time in office. LOL

Shill monkey two.
You not even worth responding to

Blogospheres now says he is a Trumpocrat. Pretty funny.
Oh yeah, and his hair turned white.

If Trump got me out of the klink.... I’d vote for him too

Draining the swamp?

So Trump (pardons) all these convicted corrupt guys in the US but said he was rooting out corruption in Ukraine
Somehow I just knew Phyre was a defensive Trumper...
Most pardon's are done towards the end of an administration unless their are special circumstances. The pardons Trumps done are well known cases and to my knowledge there were no special circumstances. Mike Milken, Rod Blagojevich, Bernie Kerik, Edward DeBartolo, Jr are straight corrupt!
Btw "Lawyer: Assange was offered US pardon if he cleared Russia"
All the people he pardoned are straight corrupt .
Bernie Kerik even took money that suppose to go to a young one hospital!
"I'll take a few pardons here and there"
Each one of them is a profile in corruption!
You guys are lost in the Trump fog. Your devotion to him is fucking scary!
Isn’t the corrections department supposed to rehabilitate and show them the right path? I think they’ve seen the light.
And, we aren’t talking the Boston Bomber or the Batman/Joker dude in CO.

Milken has done more for charity than all the rest of you put together. Not going into it cause you can Google it but it's many millions for cancer research plus the Milken Institute. The charges brought against him were mostly bullshit stuff, I was in the securities business at the time. As usual, most of you have no clue, you just remember the name and a headline from the same lying media that sells you shit every day and calls it eclairs.
I quote:
"To this day, legal experts remain split on the severity of the charges against him, or whether prosecutors stretched the law to secure a guilty verdict after years of investigating Milken’s activities.
“My understanding is the actions that led to his prior legal troubles were not black and white violations of the law at the time, according to Ron Geffner, a securities lawyer and former SEC Enforcement Division attorney. “People should be judged on their aggregate contributions to society rather than an isolated action they may have engaged in in the past.”

"Shill monkey two.
You not even worth responding to."
Dood, looks like you couldn't stop yourself from responding
Blagojevich is now saying he was a political prisoner! He tried to sell a fucking Senate seat and he claims he was a fucking political prisoner!
He could be leading the Dem nomination race with that story!
Well, I don't have a problem with some of Trump's pardons. His other ones though, let's not kid ourselves, are just because their corruption reminds Trump of himself.
He is showing his power over the Courts and Justice Dept. He was rebuked by his intervention in the Stone and Manafort cases, federal judges called emergency meetings so Trump proclaims himself chief law enforcement officer, etc It is mainly just a show of power which will probably lead to a pardon for Stone. This is much more a power play than a critical need to free these guys. Like other have said pardons are given at end of his term. Somewhat a gesture of mercy
"Trump pardoned a construction-company owner whose family donated over $200,000 to his campaign"
You can bet Micheal Milken's check is in the mail. Is this shit legal? Pardoning people that donated to his campaign. I guess those 51 GOP Senators the voted for no witnesses thinks its just fine.
Totally legal!
Ever heard of Marc Rich?
From the New York Times:
"Then, on Jan. 20, 2001 — Mr. Clinton’s last day in office — Mr. Rich’s name appeared on the presidential pardon list. It immediately became the most debated White House pardon since President Gerald R. Ford gave one to Richard M. Nixon in 1974, and speculation about Mr. Clinton’s motivation was rampant.
It was soon learned that Mr. Rich’s former wife, Denise Rich, had made large donations to the Democratic Party and the Clinton library, and that Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Ehud Barak, had lobbied Mr. Clinton for the pardon. Rabbi Irving Greenberg, chairman of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, also pressed Mr. Rich’s case, on museum stationery."

Which Party is cheaper?
You're fired!
If Trump would have waited until December to do this... Fecal Matter Lebowski would have cried, “See. He waited until after he won the election to pardon these crooks. He didn’t want the voters to be able to judge him.”
The reasons most presidents wait until the end of their term is so they don’t have to deal with the heat and criticism that will come with pardoning anyone. Kudos to the President for not hiding behind the calendar.

Maybe serve 18 months in Club Fed
The game is all rigged by both sides anyway so WGAF
