The election tampering is the Rooooskies inserting their propaganda into the discussion. They aren’t/haven’t actually tampered with the election apparatuses.
It seems their ultimate goal isn’t a candidate but to destroy the confidence we have in our election process.
Most people are gullible because pulling the weeds that surround the flowers of truth is extra work. We are lazy fat American that want to be spoon fed what to think. The Russians take advantage of that.
How are you going to combat stupidity and laziness? You can’t. We don’t care about the competence of the American voter. We just want as many people as we can get to vote for our side.
We build our system to accommodate a person who is too stupid or too lazy to get a government ID. I’m sure that person is putting in time or effort to understand issues in order to vote for competent leadership.
It is what it is. I just hope we continue to be lucky enough to have a divided Congress no matter who is in the White House.

They have been pitching this false narrative for three years about Trump, Putin, and Russia...that Russia "interfered" in our elections to benefit Donald Trump. That Donald Trump is a shill for Putin. The facts are irrefutable! So they say! But what say Robert Mueller? He said that a few Trump associates didn't pay their taxes BEFORE they worked for the Trump campaign, and some shenanigans went on with taxi medallions in NYC. Nothing about Russian collusion.
Here we are again, election time. Nothing was ever substantiated over three years, but Democrats are starting it up again -- Russia is at it again, Trump is working for Putin! Russia, Russia, Russia!!!
But here's the kicker. The Dems screwed Bernie out of the nomination last election. They don't like him one bit. They do not want to give him the nomination this time either!!! So what do the super-creative and smart Democrats at the DNC and Nancy Pelosi do? Push the exact same story -- The Russians are interfering in our election to help...Bernie Sanders!

Just because a government employee (or appointee) says what you are doing is illegal does not make them a Hillary Clinton operative. That's a pathetic accusation.
I work in government (MUCH lower level) and every time I get a new boss I always have to tell them not to do something or other they try to do because it is illegal and would put their tit in a wringer.
Trying not to escalate conflict, I usually say, "But I CAN do THIS thing here, Boss - how about that? That follows the laws and regulations."
Since my bosses have not been idiots or criminals, they agreed to do the right thing without it going any further.
It's not politics. I'm just being a good public servant, keeping my own ass out of trouble and my boss's ass too. I'm sure Trump has guys like that, way smarter than me, trying to help him.
Or at least he used to, until he fired them all for not worshiping everything that comes out of his mouth.

That’s the problem with both sides of these arguments. In trying relate your position with strength and certainty... you over reach and over generalize.
