There's no reason to be scared ... I've been going down for close to 15 years now and the ONLY "incidents" I have had have been with the cops ... more specifically with the cops wanting bribes (aka mordidas down south). Twice I paid a cop $20 (mainly to save time), once a cop was wanting to check my car, then what I had in the car's trunk, and then my pants pockets. When he asked to see my wallet I asked him if he would walk with me to Hong Kong if I gave him $40 because I didn't like the area where the parking lot was located. He remembered me for over a year and I never needed to pay him a mordida again. A couple of times I saw him near where I parked and asked him if he would walk with me to Hong Kong and I held out a $5 bill, and he was happy to make $5 in 5 minutes. But the best time was when I was walking to the bars and I asked him when he got off work. He told me he was off in 10 minutes. So I told him if he could come with me to Hong Kong or Chavelas I'd buy him a couple of tequila shots .... and in those days the managers let me bring my own bottle into the bars .... well ... half an hour after he got off work, he was one happy cop!!!

I don’t have a passport....
Idk about TJ
But let’s do the strip club in la!
Oh C'mon UpperE ... I'll take you and MissNatCox down for a tour!! There's not a single strip club in the US that even comes close the the places in Tijuana's "Zona Norte" ... and you will be safe!! Oh, I'll also buy you some tequila shots!!
Where's ForbiddenDesire??? If you want to go down south I'll take you along as well!! It's hard to find Patron down there, but Don Julio 70 is a LOT BETTER!! And 1800 Anejo is even better IMO!

You don't need a passport ... mine expired 6 or 7 years ago and I have never had a problem coming back. A Driver's License works fine to get you back.
We could do some of the LA clubs ... or even try a couple of the hostess clubs!!
If you drive in no one checks for a passport, but they do check the people that come in walking. Getting back to the US is easy with a Passport, a DL or a library card. If you are a US citizen you can get back without any documentation but it could take a bit longer.

The TJ area (block) with the best clubs is quite safe, but I always walk across & take a Taxi Libre there - border to door, never hassled.

Deja Vu was the site of a popular night club before. It is a tourist trap now similar to Hong Kong.
I'll tots go!!😃😃
I've been wanting to for a minute!!
I've been to Deja Vu TJ only once, it was during the summer a year.5 ago. A nice new themed building yeah. Around 9PM on a weekday and it was absolutely dead. Maybe 5 ladies & fewer customers. I jumped back into a taxi for zone norte. I don't think HK is ever dead but there's at least 5 dozen ladies on any weekday. Other places too.

I like Taboo off the 91 near kramer in anaheim. No food.

Deja Vu in TJ is a huge waste of time. Still better than most of the clubs in the US, but you have a club that is a magnitude better just a few minutes away with Hong Kong. They hardly ever ask for passport driving in, unless you get flagged for secondary. There is a ton to do there besides debauchery. TJ is becoming a major foodie destination. We should organize a big HX road trip. What could go wrong??? LOL.

Lol ... I will think about it.
Girls I used to work with in SD , also worked in TJ and they told me horrific stories.
I am down to EAT in TJ though, food is amazing
