If you look at numbers in a lot of states where Bernie is leading or won his lead is less than the amount Klobuchar, Bloomberg, and BootyGuy had. All three of them lean closer to Biden than Bernie. If it becomes a brokered convention Biden gets the nomination. If that happens, Bernie’s hard core supporters might not show up in November.

They cant do that. We made a pact. Whoever wins we will back. Its not over yet. Bernie's weakness has been exposed. If we want to win we need the back vote. Biden can get never trump Republicans. I dont see Bernie getting white suburban women. Bernie was expecting a surge of young voters. Very tough to rely on that age group to show up. And most likely not to show up if its not Bernie at the top of the ticket. The big picture is keeping the house and taking the Senate. Biden can help doug jones in Alabama. I dont think Bernie will do better with the black vote in Alabama. With joe the south will be in play. Gotta go with joe.

If Sanders wins the nomination, I as a Never Trumper will vote for Trump.
If Biden wins the nomination, I will vote for Biden.

They key isn’t winning the black vote. A dem always wins the black vote. The question will be is turnout of the black vote. Even with Obama’s STRONG endorsement ... black voters didn’t

Trump will not “win” the black vote no matter what... but his percentage of black voters is growing. Last I saw is he had 8% in 2016 and currently sits around 12%.
The black vote will not win Joe the red states anyway. Black voters in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, New Mexico and Nevada will be important. Clyburn really helped Joe in South Carolina... but that is it. Clyburn has done all he can do. The Trump will win SC easily.
People get over hyped about this stuff... there are red states and blue states... and just a handful of purple states. The black vote could be the decider in purple states.
Like Mr. Jones, If Bernie is the nominee, I would vote for Trump with no hesitation. If Joe ends up the nominee.... that would be tough.
Foundationally, I like the job Trump has done.... but it’s all of the other things that bother me about him. His over the top narcissism, his lack of nuance on complex issues, his “meanness.” I don’t like the tone of his presidency.
If Biden is the nominee.... I could vote for Joe.
Again... I am glad I live in California because it’s already decided here. But because of the popular vote whining in 2016, I will vote for a President in November.

Balls is right. VP choice is very important for Joe. He has all the telltale signs of the mind slowing with age. Late 70s early 80’s is common. Even if it’s not Dementia or Alzheimer’s... he beginning to show his age. The gaffs are becoming more common.
This election cycle will be brutal. I’m not looking forward to it.

Since the prevailing opinion is that Hillary is doing all she can to derail Bernie, is she quietly lobbying to be Joe's VP? If they somehow won with that ticket, she is that close to the big chair again with a crippled man in it. What a scheme!
I think whatever momentum Joe can build would be wiped out if he chose Hillary, she is way too toxic.

Other than the Carter years.... things have been pretty good. Even Nixon.... who won by a landslide, was a good president even though he did some dirty shit.
The right would have you believe Clinton wasn’t a good president... but he was.
The left would have you believe Bush was not a good president... but he was.
The right ... Obama... not a good president... but he was.
Hate Trump for his personality and leadership style... but he is governing well.
The reality is... these really are the best we have. And whoever is next will do well. Maybe not the way we each would prefer...
We will continue to argue over taxes, healthcare, the size and role of the military, guns and whatever else... but we do it with full bellies, shoes on feet and smart phones in our hands....
