I know wity coinbase you have to become verified by sending information in. that will then allow you to send and receive money from your digital wallet to other digital wallets that's probably the issue you're having.

HX should’ve given you a payment reference number for coinbase. Then you pay with coinbase.
But honestly I found it easier with the gift cards, I had issues with coinbase.
