It seems Joe is struggling with mental decline. I think the nomination might be a done deal. Bernie will do all he can to test/expose him. I expect CNN moderators to try and protect him... but unless he starts eating his own shit on stage... the Dems will never let Bernie get the nomination.

It's a done deal. Biden is the chosen one. Bernie never had a chance but he will get his 4th house.

Even if the Dems lose with Biden, they protect the House, which they will need for the next impeachment. Bernie's nomination brings the House down......literally.
Everybody is pulling out the stops. NYT is dredging up old stuff about Bernie traveling to Soviet Union in 1988 to arrange a sister city with Yaroslavl Russia when he was mayor of Burlington Vt.
I don't need info like that to know I don't want an octogenarian socialist bellowing and waving his arms at me for 4 years. Trump's been bad enough.
If I was a sadomasochist, I could just vote for Liz and get my daily scolding. I'd bet money that night time in the Warren household has him shackled to a wall with ball in mouth while Liz stands over him in black with whip in hand.

They have a better chance of protecting the house with Biden. Joe is fine when on script... but when he is off script...
The debates will be key. If he says some goofy shit... Dems still won’t vote for Trump... many will be discouraged and just stay home.
Trumpers will be out in record numbers, as the primaries have shown.

I think it’s like golf, “You’ve won the first 3 holes, and you’re 3 up, but there’s a lot more golf to play!” The GOP shouldn’t count their chickens so early.

That being said, I hope Biden continues to babble into an open mike!

^^ There's the old story that if you get enough monkeys hammering at typewriters long enough, one of them will produce "War and Peace".
Maybe you need more time and posts to actually blog something that makes sense or is relevant to the topic?

I vote Libertarian, so I'm not biased. I predict Biden will win Pennsylvania and thus the election, you're underestimating how manny people dont want Biff from back to the future as President anymore.

It is amusing that people are going on about Biden’s supposed cognitive decline, all the while Trump regularly tweets out batshit crazy nonsense ranging from covfefe to windmill cancer and makes public comments that are often an indecipherable morass of babble.

The debates between the 2 will be enlightening, no?
I think Joe's a nice guy and certainly wouldn't be a detriment to America. However, he's been pretty much wrong on most policy arguments over the last 40 years. Frankly, Wrong-Way Joe is a far more appropriate moniker than Sleepy Joe, imho.
Biden is running as a Trump stopper, I get that. But what else will he do? Other than stealing some Progressive ideas from Bernie, Liz, Pete, etc. What will he do that's his own?
He does understand that to effect real lasting change, you have to work WITH the other side. Obama never understood that or was too lazy to do it, hence his change unravelled pretty quickly.
Bernie/Biden debates start on the 15th. I say Biden wins and is on the November ballot.

'let's see if fox does a biden town all there...lots of energy for trump, in biden's hometown'
While he was born in Scranton, PA... that is not his hometown.
Think of Wilmington, DE....
Is 'penn' a state? or did you mean to say Pennsylvania?
|
|
i think penn. is a state? steelers play there in pitt.?
|
|
my mistake then...must have heard it wrong
the gist of it does not change though, with biden claiming he will own the state come election time???
|
|
while you have your own definition of what a hometown is?
what do you think a politician's definition is?
it's whatever the fuck they say it is and what will benefit them. I have heard Scranton, PA come out of his mouth 20 times more than Deleware
where was the town hall? how was it billed?
|
|
Better question is " Why is Delaware a state?"
I drove across it border to border in about an hour, it's half the size and 1/10th the population of LA County.
|
|
That's all I wanted to say.... good night
