People are definitely over hyping this. Swine flu/ H1N1 did more damage than this but because it was a flu and a name people are familiar with no one panicked like this. Caution is surely warranted. Things will be ok. In 2 months i bet this will be a distant memory

How can anyone say that citizens are over hyping this? That is a line right out of Brietbart news...
The reality is that people are panicking because they donβt know what the real situation is. And why do we not know this? Because we cannot do testing. And why cant we do testing?
Well for starters, the White House pandemic office was closed years ago. This is not fake news, it is fact. It was a conscious decision by the current Trump administration.
If we have adequate testing, people know whats going on and people can react accordingly. Unfortunately, our society is flying blind which is why everything is shutting down.
Please people, stop being dumb fucks and believing what Fox, Breitbart, CraneOp and the Trump administration are telling you. They are politically motivated and not acting in the interest of the people.
This is not political. Coronavirus does not care if you are a Democrat or Republican!

I understand it is very unsettling, but Itβs gonna be ok. People are resilient and forgetful. People lived through worse (Black Plague, Measles, Polio, Richard Nixon) and were still here. Three weeks from now we will all be back to whatever we were doing. Hope to see you soon.
