I went to the store to get a couple of things. When I walked in I was shocked. Shelves bare, no bread, produce just about gone, no meat of any kind. Store looked like it was going out of business.
I never seen shit like that before!

The reason people are stocking up is because they're worried about LA being quarantined. If LA is quarantined you won't be able to go get fast food. Italy is quarantined a lady there said only one family member can go out each day to get food. Everything is closed.

According to TV supermarkets are selling out around the country. I agree a crowded supermarket is a mass gathering which they say to stay away from. One of the HUGE problems with this whole coronavirus thing is that people who might feel sick can't get a corona test. Those people might have it but they continue to go to work and on public transportation, in supermarkets infecting people and not even knowing it. All they know is they have to go to work and do errands etc...This is fucked up.

So here's another prob with the dipshits hoarding things they don't even know what to do with.
N95 masks are made for particulate. The crazy masses have bought up all the N95s- P100s and filters.
So, as a contractor I have 3 weeks supply on my truck. I know others in Emergency Service with about the same- suppliers are telling us 6 to 8 weeks if you can get them in that time. So, everyone is partnering up to share equipment to keep working- but at some point we will not have and OSHA will not let us work our guys with proper PPE.
So, when there is a fire, flood, toilet back up, etc and you need Emergency Service, there will be a delay because no PPE. This will also cause delay on construction projects.
I wish people knew WHAT they were buying and WHY- because what they just depleted the market of, are masks that DO NOTHING for moist respirations....

I hit ralphs this morning, they were out of water, went to staters, out of tp for 3 days but had water
went to another ralphs and no water,
next I went past costco in yorba linda, looks like they had opened early, but there was a slow moving line around the building before 9 a
after that I decided everyone has panicked enough from the media, better to hit the stores during the week. I did get my yogurt and tuna, which is what I went for
