Run around the block and do some burpees.

It might be a revelation to you but you don't need a gym to work out. Go for a run. Do some crunches. Get a cheap set of dumbbells.
Gyms are worse than other public venues due to the amount of sweat and exhalations in the air and on the equipment. Not to mention shared shower facilities that can't possibly be disinfected between each use.
I'd stay away from them for the time being.

I hate gyms, I hiss like a cat at the suggestion. I work out at home.

The planet fitness gyms in San Diego allow 10 people including staff members in their facilities right now but not sure how long you'd have to wait just to get in. But imagine being in a empty gym..
I just bought a bench and set of 100 lb dumbbells so I should be good and running outdoors is nice with the cool weather.

Virtual gyms are becoming more popular. Some of you who are in better shape may be able to earn as virtual trainers.

Update: there are trainers outside my home training people at the park, (with social distancing, of course)

Planet Fitness announced they are closing all their corporate locations. Franchise locations might remain open but I doubt it.
Anytime Fitness might be open, as they announced today that there are going to do a deep cleaning tonight. Again it will vary by location

Find a friend that has a gym in their apartment building.

I exercise inside my garage, since I don't drive. I've been using the same exercise bench, bench bar, easy curl bar, dumb bell bars, and free weights for over twenty years.
I need the exercise to cope with the stress of these very turbulent times.

They have no choice right now.
