That explains the toilet paper hoarding panic...
But is says those are symptoms for many but not all patients. It can help if someone has many of the symptoms If they have that one with the others they should get tested.
Dude you're an idiot. You can't just "get tested". It's not up to you. Even if you work yourself up to believe you have it, you don't get to choose if you get tested. If you are sick, take care of yourself, if its bad get to the emergency room. Otherwise stop putting a drain on the medical system.
@RobBlakeFan you're the fuckin idiot.
I posted this in a previous blog.
Keep up!
If you have symptoms you can call you're family doctor and he can help you get tested or one of the numbers below and they can help you. Testing is limited and they want to make sure only the people with serious symptoms get test. There are some drive in testing facilities that just opened in the last few days around LA, IE and OC.
Where To Get Tested For Coronavirus In Los Angeles
Found a resource where you can possibly get tested if you are exhibiting symptoms of the virus.
University of California Medical Center is regularly updating its website and has resources to perform tests on eligible patients. For more info, call patient care: (310) 267-9113.
""If you are healthy, have no exposure history, and have no symptoms, you are not guaranteed to be tested due to the limited test kits and protective gear supply caused by the coronavirus crisis. If you do have symptoms or know someone that you think does have the contact on of this location. If anyone has more testing sites please post them.""

Article about how to get tested:
"Coronavirus test sites grow in LA County, but you must be sick, and follow protocol, to be tested
In most cases, you should start with your primary care physician, who would then refer you to a testing center if you meet criteria"

I thought about this and I am still wondering about it. This virus seemed to break out in China and in Italy with in weeks of each other. Their are on opposite side of the globe. Why are there so few cases of the virus in Russia??
You now have Putin sending the Russian military to Italy he says to help. This all seems very strange. How has a country as large as Russia seem to virtual be not affected of this global pandemic.

Doom guy is a one man PSA blog and should be treated for Logorrhoea.

If you feel you are sick with the corona virus your Doctor might not be able to get you a corona virus test but he can run several tests that would be good indicators of the virus. After these results come back and your are positive he can put you on a protocol that treats corona virus and possibly get you a test. They know enough know to make educated guesses with enough information.
That information us what I gleaned from the Moe Kelly show last night. Take it for what ita worth.

GoBallsDeepIntoDudes,
I know we’re all bored at home (though I’d be willing to bet that you’re not doing any sheltering in place or social distancing since this is MURICA and you’re a MURICAN), but the way you’re following people from blog to blog like the Chester followed Spike in Warner Bros. cartoons is, well, not a great look.
But you do you.

I really wonder if theres an immunologist that can tell if this virus was man made or evolved from nature. Its extremely strange the virus is raging all over the country in every major country but not in Russia.
If this is state sponsored bioterrorism it would make perfect sense to put it in China and in Europe. In China it would effect the global economy and interrupt supply chains to the US and part of the world as it has. Also there is a lot of travel between China and the US west coast.
Putting it in Europe would help to decimate allies and partners of the US without actually putting the virus directly in the US. Travel from Europe to the US would guarantee a fast spread.
Putin is sending the Russian military to Italy he says to help. Thats strange in itself.
This whole shit is really strange, where did it come from to spread this fast in certain parts of the world?

Didn't read, too long, shorter is better like your dick

Pretty gripping and informative interview on Joe Rogan podcast. People don’t give Joe Rogan enough credit at how informed his questions are. In the interview, Joe point blank asks many of the major conspiracy theories out there and the research doctor point blank answered them.
Wrt to Dude’s question if covid 19 was man-made or nature, Dr O (not Dr Oz) states that w the bio technology that we have today, it’s pretty easy to tell if a virus is man or nature made. It’s analogous to how easily scientists can carbon-date a fossil. Dr O states this virus came from the wild.
This podcast is worth watching.

I wonder if there is a correlation between mild symptoms and severe symptoms and getting a flu shot or not getting it. Does getting a flu shot aid in keeping the symptoms mild?
I think if you are fairly young and otherwise healthy, you should go out and get the virus because we are going to need a lot of people in the coming weeks or months that are immune due to having prior exposure
maybe if some of the girls get it they can advertise and guys that want it will know where to go

Biochemist, used to specialize in anti-viral drug development.
Covid-19 is not man made. As mentioned in a previous post, it is relatively straightforward to tell if a virus was made-made or a bio weapon. Covid-19 was identified in Chinese Horseshoe bats as early as 2011. In fact two UNC scientists (Baric & Menachery) predicted that this particular corona virus (there are hundreds) would be a likely candidate to jump from animals to humans (zoonotic) in a paper they published in 2015. No one listened....
2small... Joe Rogan’s podcast is one of the best. He is a sharp guy and a pretty good interviewer. He always seems to be informed about his guest and their information.
He gets great guests and helps them drill down on info and perspectives.
If he weren’t such a smoker.... I think he’d be even better.
Old Baldy... I thought about it... but they are not sure yet that you can’t get it again.
Good info, cygne
Didn't Gates also warn back in 2015 that we are unprepared for this?
Tom Clancy anticipated 9/11 in one of his books but did anyone pay attention?
@cygne realistically with the full force or the US government and whole world looking this virus spreading to their countries how long do you think it will take a working vaccine to be created for this virus. Then how long will it take to be produced and have it sent out to to people.
@Dude, if all goes well about 12-18 months to develop a vaccine that completes all safety & effectiveness testing. Theoretically, I can see the FDA fast-tracking a promising vaccine candidate (e.g., Moderna) in about 6-8 months with adequate safety/effectiveness data but that still tracks to about 12-14 months or so from now before enough of the vaccine is produced to start making it available to the masses. Front line healthcare workers will likely be the first to get the vaccine before it is made widely available to the general population. My guess is before then, there will be effective drug treatments developed to treat and improve patient outcomes.

Cygne-
I read that in order for vaccine to be created, about 60-80% of population has to or will be infected and have overcome the virus. From this “herd” a vaccine can be created from the antibodies of this large virus-resistant herd. This process takes 12-18 months.
There are already many people who have overcome this virus both nationally and globally. Why can’t researchers just use the antibodies from many of these covid 19 survivors?
At the speed that this virus is moving by the time a vaccines is available to the public a large number of the world community may already be infected. The drugs to treat the virus should probably be the focus right now.
Like I said dipshit. You can't just get tested because you want to or because you have a cough or whatever. But please continue to promote that people that have no need to be tested to overtax the medical system. Good call.
@ Balls (love the username), zoonotic epidemics is the world we live in now, imo. We should expect another, different outbreak every few years or so. One of the problems is there are too many candidates predicted, it will be very difficult and costly to pay attention to all. More cost effective to have pandemic teams vigilant on worldwide, local outbreaks before they become an epidemic and then a pandemic. I know of one case a few years ago where the US CDC team embedded in China identified a local outbreak of a particularly virulent flu strain and worked with the China government to contain it at a local level before it spread, could have easily been another covid-19 type situation. Didn't get mass media news coverage in part because the issue was contained and neutralized before it became a larger problem.

Harvey Weinstein Tests Positive For Coronavirus In NY State Prison.
This is an extremely serious issue. How do people practice social distancing while in jail. If this virus gets into the prison system from prison guards, new inmates or visitors this could really became a huge problem nationwide.
@RobBlakeFan "You can't just get tested because you want "
Dude what are you illiterate, can't read or both. Nobody said that.
@cygne
We seem to be having some type of new virus every couple of years anyway or repeats of some old like Ebola.......so I would agree with your expectations for the future
You guys in the biz need to come up with a cure-all, lol.
Too fucking complicated, i know, but what the hell do we pay you for anyway!
Oh you bleeding heart Libtard... how is this really a problem?
Stop EVERYTHING... Convected felons might die !
@Dood
Really sorry to hear about old Harv.
We still need to ship him back here for more court time
And, was hoping he would serve a long sentence with the Coz
@2amall, not accurate. Although that is one (older) way to develop vaccines, that is not typically the approach used with today's computation technology. Covid-19 vaccine development is well under way already.
I read that the a plasma treatment from recovered patients is being trialed in China. Promising, but I'd think would be difficult to scale, world-wide.
there was an article in the Times about prisons being a big set up for something like this and California prisons have already stopped allowing visitors
Kaiser- there's nothing to prove immunity can be acquired, but that is the common rule for these types of viruses. now aids, there's a virus where immunity doesn't happen
Another interesting thing is it seems that the virus has a significantly higher fatality rate for men than women.
Not clear if changing your preferred pronoun from HE to SHE or cross dressing can fool the virus yet.
jackrabbit wonders why it is a problem that prisoners might die.
Left-wing answer: because people in prison are not sentenced to death, mostly... only a certain time. They are in our care and vulnerable--we are custodians during their time.
Right-wing answer: prisons are run mostly by corporations who are paid by inmate. If inmate count drops (due to death), revenue drops. If inmates require hospital care, costs jump up. If inmate care does not meet standards, there will likely be a nasty investigation and fines.
Shareholders will not be pleased.
You were implying it dipshit. What were your links for? Encouraging people to get tested and ... tax the system.
Who care about social distancing by people in jail...Thin the herd!
@RobBlakeFan I didn't imply anything if you had read my pervious blogs instead just jumping in with BS you what have seen that it was clearly explained.
PLEASE, everyone has to social distancing.
So to stopped the infection rate.
No one is invincible.
There's a 12 year old girl in Atlanta on a ventilator
PLEASE

Thats the first case I heard of something like that.

To Russia. I read someplace this virus can not live below 26/27 degress.

So is that the cure. Should every American spend time in a Cryo bay.
I guess you can't put your head in it lol

This is a decent article that list "All the ways you can—and can’t—catch the coronavirus"
-Things like can you catch it from a public toilet
-Is the virus known to be airborne

I wonder why weho is on the top of the list
