All he is worried about is getting re-elected, so he is giving information that is not true and can cause more harm to all.
Here we go again with the bailouts to corporations using taxpayers’ money and the CEOs walkout with bonuses and other riches! The Republicans are trying to push through COVID-19 legislation like before where there is no accountability. We can not afford to keep paying for these corporate welfare

What matters is he is winning people in the middle. Middle voters have grown tired of the constant barrage of criticism. His 10% uptick over the last month has come from those voters that will decide the election in November.
For the fall campaign he is going to load the airwaves with clips of Gavin Newsom and Andrew Coumo saying what a great job Trump is doing.
It won’t be enough for him to win CA or NY.... but it will help him in close states like Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan.

Right now the state governors are doing a much better job of leadership than the federal leaders on both sides. Trump and his lackeys want credit for the fix but not the blame that started this. Dems are not doing enough to convince other federal leaders of what needs to be done, and the consequence of bailing out corporations instead of people.
That said, Trump trying to rush through the “recovery” to the economy despite what the experts say demonstrates a dangerous ego. What is also telling is that he would rather answer questions about the negative media than with facts.
Last I've checked the public get employed by the corporations and the public owns shares in corporations. Democrats want to kill them or not help them - just pay unemployment.

I was considering voting for Trump a few months ago, when it looked like Bernie would be the Democratic nominee.
But after Trump’s failure to act aggressively and decisively on testing and on social distancing orders, which would have saved many lives, he has made me want to vote him out of office.
