Yep. Great time to make deals on cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs and the like.
They aren’t expecting to sell much over the next 60 days.

I agree... No that all beaches are closed in LA, they are flocking to HB to surf...etc
|
|
Why in the hell are the beaches in HB even open? You may have the stupidest people in all of the planet running Huntington Beach.....
|

Hey. Are the fire pits still open? Was thinking of getting a group to play volleyball and have a bonfire. You in?

Board walk was packed and cars lines up when driving by Sunday.

Seems Newsome closed State parks so I think that would affect part of HB beaches.

Isn't HB perpetually clogged with cars and people on a good sunny day? Kinda the norm since forever. Except maybe when it was orange groves and swamp
|
|
O crap, HB is open? Thanks for letting us know! I’m going to have to plan a trip there since me and my friends can’t go to the beaches in LA.
Glad to know that some beaches are open. Thanks for the info!!!

Fuck HB!
Those cocksuckers in the city fucked me out of a million dollars 25 years ago. Show up in town ready to do business, contribute to your community and create 50 jobs, they give it to you dry and run you out of town like a criminal.
HB is run by the police. It is a police state. The City Manager is the person in charge, the elected officials in the City Council and Planning Commission are powerless and castrated. And the City Manager is beholden to the Police Chief.
Huntington Beach ceased to be a free city when a bunch of drunken troublemakers overturned and burned a couple of cop cars at the OP Surfing event in the 1980s. Then, the police union formed a very strong group, the raise money, and contribute that money to politicians who run for office, agreeing to be a straw man, marching to the beat of the police union, police chief, and city manager.
I know from experience. I wouldn't set foot back in that city for the world. I wish Pacific City would slide into the ocean and come to rest somewhere around the oil rigs.
And don't get me fucking started about the Mormons. Half the police force is Mormon, and a good portion of the population is too, dating back to the days of the oil field workers. Many of them were Mormons who couldn't find work in Utah. Mormons don't dance or even drink coffee or soda, so great idea -- put Mormon cops in charge of liquor licensing, entertainment permits, and conditional use permits. Great fucking idea!
FUCK HB! "Come on vacation...leave on probation."

HB isn't the worse. I witness people ignore any warnings in the St Patrick's weekend in HB and it's sister beach city.
NPB one covid case per 2330 population.

I was at Oceanside pier yesterday and you would think it was a hot sunny day in the summer there was so many people out and about it was crazy and they had the beach blocked off at that.

Thank you for all your support in me trying to get you stupid motherfuckers away from H.B.. Yea I do live in downtown H.B., see the ocean from my upper balcony, master bedroom and bathroom and enough parking for three cars maybe 4 if we squeeze them really tight. . No I am not rich. I just got lucky in finding this place and became like a pseudo-manager . The owner has not raised my rent in 11 years. The other places rent for $800 more than I pay.
What is with all the fucking trash you dirty fucks leave on the curb and street. Clean up after yourselves you fucking twat farts. Peace.

From the OC Register;
State Parks Orange Coast District Superintendent Kevin Pearsall said the light crowds at Huntington State Beach, Bolsa Chica, and Doheny State Beach in Dana Point were spread out. Those beaches shut down only public parking lots, but people were still allowed to hang out on the sand or surf.
“It’s going really well, it’s surprisingly mellow,” he said. “We’re not getting complaints, we’re getting people complying… From what I can see, I think just closing the lots was enough to be a wake-up call, and people seem to be complying, at least in our county.”
so there's that ...
But I believe you, Gilbert, because with LB closed, it's where anyone in West OC will try to go. And while I don't think all the cops there are Mormon sober, they are a totalitarian bunch of cement heads. When the county DOES get around to closing the beaches, they'll blame the ruffians from Riverside and San Berdoo, as always.
Peace, love and Purell!

Most dealership service departments are open and sales are by appointment

I always liked LA Harley and Fullerton Harley. When LA acquired Fullerton, it was perfect. Never had a complaint for sales, service or parts.

There are 76 cases of COVID-19 in HB. Anaheim has the most in OC 114 cases. I'm not a doctor but i am a gynecologist. COVID-19 moves in logical ways. In NYC everyone has to use elevators. People who work in the city commute from long island, Connecticut, jersey on trains. Everyone touches hand rails.and straps. The same with cruse ships. Old people walking up and down stairs holding onto banisters, and pushing buttons in elevators. In washington at the nursing home health care workers deliver meals and meds and go from resident to resident. Possibly passing the virus to everyone. Thats why the high rate of transference. The same with why minorities are catching covid-19 at a higher rate. People with lower incomes work at jobs that have a high rate of transference. So wash your hands.
