I dont understand why the fuck we need transcribers in 2019. Why dont they just record the fucking calls and play the Got damn tapes verbatim.

“An Australian government spokesperson has confirmed the conversation took place, saying: “The Australian Government has always been ready to assist and cooperate with efforts that help shed further light on the matters under investigation. The PM confirmed this readiness once again in conversation with the President.”

Is asking for help a High Crime or a Misdemeanor?

Speaking of Biden. If what They say is true. That incident cast the Obama administration
as corrupt all the way to the top.

Right. So the MSM made assess of themselves over MUH-Russia which was a big nada and now this is a BIG DEAL? Nobody cares about fake news. No one.
Sure, those that hate Trump care. Also, those that want to prevent Barr from uncovering the origins of the fake 3 year scandal (aka cover-up of political spying).
The rest of America does not. They will not abide by a fake, one-sided impeachment probe.
The President is not supposed to uphold the law? Investigate what happened? Why, because Shifty and Pelosi say he can't? Spare me.
If Biden did nothing, then there is nothing to be worried about.
Yet, they are worried.
This fake news is nothing, but some people deflecting. aka 'don't look there, look here!'
Welcome to the Big Ugly.
Stay tuned,
XoX

"Is asking for help a High Crime or a Misdemeanor?"
without a doubt.
If the help is to get dirt on your political rivals.
And you threaten to use your power and office to coerce the other party into "helping" by manipulating aid to a foreign ally, and you seek a personal and political favor at the expense of your country's best interest.
And then you use your power and position to try to cover it up.
And threaten a whistle blower who is protected by law.
On top of the proven collusion with Russia to manipulate an election. Mueller report is clear on that.
This dud is going away for a long, long time. Probably will flee to Russia and disappear.

Australians don't actually like Foster's btw

And as per the norm here on HX... Many of you have no fucking idea what the fuck you're talking about!

@ BigOnes you are so right. I think these fools took Shifft at his word.
None of them read the transcript.
Trump didn't threaten the whistle blower. He only wants to face him or her.

Um yeah... Aussies hate fosters with a passion.
And apparently not trump fans either lol

Even if the house impeaches Trump, the Senate will just send it to a committee and they will just table it forever.

@SixD.
Our own Justice Department confirmed that Trump & Barr asked the Aussies.
And the British.
And the Italians.
“Spokeswoman Kerri Kupec (Justice Department) did not name the countries in her statement. But an Australian government spokesperson was quoted as saying Trump had spoken to Prime Minister Scott Morrison by phone, and the Washington Post reported that Barr had made overtures to British intelligence officials and met with Italian officials to seek their help in the inquiry.”
Why you crying?

It is when you're asking a foreign government to help you attack your political rival. Your question is pretty disingenuous when you leave out what he was asking for and from whom...

You do realize that, one, Trump meeting the whistleblower is against the law, and two, revealing the whistleblower's identity IS threatening them, right?
The whistleblower law was passed by Congress expressly so that federal employees could report wrong doing anonymously in order to avoid reprisals. Having the accused meet the accuser and thus revealing their identity not only defeats the whole purpose of the law but would endanger the whistleblower's life and livelihood.

What "they" say isn't true though.
How do we know? Trump's own staff warned him repeatedly that the Ukraine stuff was groundless, and Trump's Homeland Security Advisor, Tom Bossert, said Guiliani and others persisted pushing the Biden conspiracy theory even after White House officials debunked it.
These are Trump's own people. Look it up.

That's simply not true. Impeachment trials don't go to committee and can't be tabled.
Here's a direct quote from Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell, earlier today, "The Senate impeachment rules are very clear. The Senate would have to take up an impeachment resolution if it came over from the House.”
The likelihood of the Senate convicting Trump at this point is pretty low, however. They'd need 20 Republicans to vote against Trump. We'll see where we stand after testimony is given and more facts come to light.

Letter From Australian Official Emerges That Casts Doubt On Report From New York Times
By Ryan Saavedra
William Barr, attorney general nominee for U.S. President Donald Trump, smiles during a Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing in Washington, D.C., U.S., on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019. Barr says he'd let Special Counsel Robert Mueller "complete his work" and that he'd provide Congress and the public as much of the findings in the Russia probe as possible
