It’s how the game is and has been played for all of our lifetime. The difference is that Trump isn’t as sophisticated in back-channeling.
Every candidate/campaign looks for dirt. They don’t always use it... it’s often held in reserve until it’s needed.

No. The secret to winning for the Right Wing Christian Right (republicans) is Benghazi! After 9 or 10 Congressional investigations including those by the DOJ and the IG, it is clear there is a cover up because they found nothing!
The Senate should spend the next year and 40 billion dollars investigating the investigations of Benghazi. Moscow Mitch and the gang will find the perpetrators who wrote those talking points!
