I always thought this dude was the founder of the Hells Angels.

Definitely one of my favorite drummers. Also incredibly eccentric (putting it charitably). If you haven't seen it yet, watch the documentary about him, "Beware of Mr. Baker." I think it's on Netflix or Amazon. Very entertaining.
RIP

First Jack Bruce, now Ginger Baker. I hope Eric Clapton keeps going strong.
Cream: greatest supergroup ever.
Rest in peace.

I loved how Ginger Baker never let an open space in a song go to waste. On the downside, he pretty much pioneered the rock drum solo.

Fuck, RIP in Mr Baker. Though he never was much about resting.

I still have my original vinyl dead albums, cream, tull, zeppelin, all in pristine condition
maybe they're worth some money now

Let us not leave out four track and eight track. Muntz was part of many cars.
Cream? An all time favorite, but that life style was too much for many.
For the man to make it to 80 is very impressive.

I had never heard of him before now. Just by coincidence I'm scanning through the Roku apps / SNAGFILMS and found a documentary (Beware of Mr. Baker). I'm about fifteen minutes into it so far, worth watching.

Apparently I've listened to a lot of his music. I just don't know who's in the bands. I love Cream.
