Harpooner.... that’s the bullshit I am talking about.
Shepherd Smith requested to be let out of his contract. His bosses asked him to consider staying. He wanted to leave... so they let him.
Smith was a good news man... and a pillow biter. Why would Fox want to lose that?
You make it sound like Fox pushed him out the door. I’m sure that’s how you read it in your head. You and Dude putting 2+2 together again?

Why is it that everything I read on the media is bullshit and everything you read on the media is true? Why don’t you view things with skepticism if they fit your ideological beliefs?
Is it possible, just maybe possible, that the stories saying Smith left of his own volition are not accurate?

By the way, I absolutely 100% believe MSN is highly biased and CNN is a close second. I rarely pay attention to either. Can you admit Fox is the same as MSN, except they favor the repubs?

Ummmm I... I am going by what Smith himself said... not just a news story.
And I am skeptical of EVERYTHING I read in the news... from everywhere.
The difference is I a content to wait until I actually have some information....
If I were Smith... and made a shit load of money over the last 23 years... I’d want out of Fox. Why is that so hard to believe?

I absolutely believe Fox is biased... particularly on their opinion shows.
I think they do a decent job on news. I’’m interested to see what happens now that Smith is gone.

‘Why is it that everything I read on the media is bullshit and everything you read on the media is true?”
Tell me what media reports have I been advocating as truth?
The only story I believe is that Shepherd Smith decided to leave Fox.

Dont know if it is unconstitutional, but the Democrats are setting some precedents by not letting the Republicans impeach or ask questions during the inquiry.

yes, but he'll wait til his contract is over

it's probably about the same time i said he needed to go about a month ago...smith went on his moral bend and beliefs and started to fact check hannity just like cnn and other news channels have been doing when they were simulcasting an event about or with trump
he also went on a tirade when tucker had a guest on that called judge napolitano an idiot or something similar. both him and the judge hate hate hate trump
so the writing was on the wall....tucker and hannity are hot properties that make money.....smith news hour was not making enough money or give fox enough credibility to denigrate it's two money making stars.
also when you start to have personal takes on a straight news hour that are flat out wrong, like a maddow, your ratings will suffer...it's simple shit.
personally....it's one show i miss 99 percent of the time.....i am not the only one
so as much as we hear it was him only which it might have been?? the writing was on the wall and his fate was sealed going after those two and injecting his takes more and more

Just FYI ...
The House is not trying to "overturn an election." They are impeaching Trump for crimes he's committed in office.
Try and make that distinction, because Trump wants you to believe the former because it sounds better to his base. There is no way to "overturn an election" in America.

Sandy... you are correct... the phrase ”overturn the election” is wrong... but the sentiment behind it isn’t.
From literally the day after he was elected... before he ever took office... there were strategies discussed of how to impeach him. MoveOn.org began calling for his impeachment when he announced the “Muslim Ban.”
I think Trump is a despicable dude... but the left has clearly had an agenda to remove him from office from the very beginning.
So in essence... the goal has been to find a way to undo the results of the election from the beginning.
Don’t get me wrong... If President Obama had left an opening like Trump has... the right would have gone after him just as hard.
But Helen Keller can see the motivation. Now the only question is... did Trump give them enough rope to hang him with?
We will see.

Well you can rig the nomination in American elections, as was proved in 2016.
Clip the DNC chair as the scapegoat and.....let two criminals fight it out. You got Trump.
Your tears are funny......reminds me of burnice's people still whining.

Loucifer: "Dont know if it is unconstitutional, but the Democrats are setting some precedents by not letting the Republicans impeach or ask questions during the inquiry." Not true. Not true at all.
The full House of Representatives does the impeachment, if any there be. The issue is first delegated to committees to investigate. The committees are composed of BOTH Democrats AND Republicans. The interviews of witnesses (depositions) are done by committee members pursuant to a process REPUBLICANS installed. Once the interviews/investigations are complete, the committee reports its findings to the House. The House then debates, inquires, and eventually votes as to whether to approve article(s) of impeachment. if the articles of impeachment are voted on and approved by a House majority (elections have consequences), then the articles are sent to the Senate for a 'trial" where the senators can inquire and investigate before voting.
So, no, Democrats are not impeaching, and Republicans can (contrary to Fox News reporting/opining) ask questions during the House committee hearings. BTW, Republican sycophant and Trump lap dog Devin Nunes is on the committee and doesn't even attend all the depositions. Too busy complaining on Fox that he can't ask questions.
That's my .02
I'm sure these facts will be challenged by some statement about Obama's birth cerificate, Hillary's emails, or Benghazi.

Yep... unless they come up with a literal smoking gun.... it seems all they have is inference and interpretations of 2nd hand conversations.
Tough to kick a president out of office with that.
And back to the OP.... seems the conspiracy that Fox ousted Smith and Wallace is next has evaporated.
And Fox is still killing the other networks in ratings. I’m surprised MSNBC doesn’t switch over to Dobie Gillis reruns. I’m guessing they could double their viewership.

Will repeat here. In an interview, Hillary said they will do anything to get rid of Trump. One of the few times she has ever told the candid truth.
I think all the hyperbole coming from the Dumbocrats should be looked through that filter.
