If Trump had not pulled out the troops, none of the carnage would be happening. He allowed it to happen. Without his actions, none of the other dominos would have fallen
(and no, Dominos pizza is. Ot out of business yet, you tangent diverting scoundrels.)
Knowing full well what the consequences were and against advice of advisors and veterans of regional conflict, Trump basically unleashed the Turkish war dogs. Turk troops are gonna do what they were gonna do.
Or if you need a better analogy to understand, imagine Trump is the prison warden of maximum security ultra-dangerous super-max prison. He left the keys out for one faction of prisoners to unlock their cages, raid the armory and gun down rival prisoners. And Trump pulled the “guards” out to make it easier for one faction to hunt down the other. Did he pull the trigger? No. Did he set it in motion, willingly? Damn straight he did.
