In 2017 the Democrat -controlled California legislature increased the state gasoline tax by 12 cents per gallon. In 2018 the voters failed to pass a proposition repealing the tax increase.
And now they wonder why gas is so expensive.

I voted for John Cox and yes on proposition six.
Proposition 6 would have amended the State Constitution to require the Legislature to get voter approval for new or increased taxes on the sale, storage, use, or consumption of gasoline or diesel fuel, as well as for taxes paid for the privilege of operating a vehicle on public highways.
Proposition 6 was a San Diego County effort from start to finish. The ballot measure would have repealed a 12-cent gas tax increase and vehicle registration fee the Legislature passed in 2017.
Most citizens of California haven't met a tax increase they didn't like.

And actually that is a likely scenario to see me in because them fuckers are made of cardboard and a DIY engine kit. If a fly farts I can hear it and the wind throws me off course. It is a POS car but the radio is loud, the AC is cold and I am saving over $300 in gas a month so fuck you all that hate me driving it around. Fuck you very much
