Best Traitor in chief president ever #45

Publius Letter, I
"But when a man, appointed to be the guardian of the State, and the depositary of the happiness and morals of the people—forgetful of the solemn relation, in which he stands—descends to the dishonest artifices of a mercantile projector, and sacrifices his conscience and his trust to pecuniary motives; there is no strain of abhorrence, of which the human mind is capable, nor punishment, the vengeance of the people can inflict, which may not be applied to him, with justice. If it should have happened that a Member of C———ss has been this degenerate character, and has been known to turn the knowledge of secrets, to which his office gave him access, to the purposes of private profit, by employing emissaries to engross an article of immediate necessity to the public service; he ought to feel the utmost rigor of public resentment, and be detested as a traitor of the worst and most dangerous kind."
Hamilton warned of a man like Trump — ambition, avarice and vanity. “When avarice takes the lead in a State, it is commonly the forerunner of its fall,”
I do not pretend that politicians are holy, they are as they must be creatures that skulk in the shadows. But Trump cares more about himself and his own ambition than this country; everything is calculated to profit his family now. The fact that he reversed a previous decision to again pump up his family business over his duties as President is the gravest example. Say all you will about the modern day president cashing in our their office after they have left- it is nonetheless less after. Gone are the days of a Harry Truman, who after leaving the White House moved back home to live in his mother in law's house.

No actually it doesn't; that is a nonsensical argument and fails to even understand how he is profiting from the presidency by continually using his properties both as a base for the presidency as well as continually "selling" them when talking to world leaders. Additionally, he continues use his contacts with world leaders to develop properties. Your argument essentially is if a person steals $1million dollars but give $1000 to charity he should not be branded a thief.
So for the of you counting
1. Using the presidency to advance his hotel interests - his chief of staff today even admitted to thinking he is still in the hospitality business.
2. Using private attorneys and public officers to advance his agenda.
Btw, for those of you who think Hamilton was just another liberal- he actually advocated for a imperial president but at the same time demanded that impeachment was an absolute necessary counter what would occur should someone who cared abnormally more for his own wealth then for the country.
|
|
by agenda of course I mean his desire to continue to line his own pockets at the expense of the country.

Seems like everyone who has worked in the Trump Administration and left thinks Trump is a moron lol
Here a list of who resigned or was fired. Its so many people it feels like a SNL sketch.
Major people from the Secretary of State on down.

Again a false equivalent - but yes I agree that those fucktards should also be held accountable for their actions. and for specifics on how he is profiting, a study from 2018 found
84% of the more than $16 million spent on Trump properties since 2015 came from Trump's own campaign, most of which went to chartered planes from Trump-owned TAG Air.
The largest single payment was $1,271,944, paid by Trump's campaign to his chartered jet company, on November 28, 2016, 20 days after Trump's election.
Trump's campaign spent another $473,662 on that same date at five other Trump properties — rent at Trump Tower in New York, food at Trump Restaurants in New York and Trump Golf Club in Virginia, and lodging at Trump Hotel Las Vegas and Trump Hotel D.C.
The largest payment made by taxpayers came from the Department of Homeland Security, which paid $56,330.48 for an event at Trump Golf Club Miami on May 31, 2017.
When Trump has traveled as president, a third of the time he has stayed at his own properties, according to ProPublica.
Trump's properties, especially the International Hotel off of Pennsylvania Ave. in D.C., have also attracted foreign government officials from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Malaysia as well as pro-Turkish groups, according to watchdog group Public Citizen.
Trump promised to donate any profit from foreign governments to the U.S. Treasury. In March, the Trump Organization claimed that they had done so for their 2017 profits by donating around $150,000, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The joining fee for the Mar-a-Lago beach resort were doubled to $200,000 following Trump's election and just before his inauguration, members also pay an additional $4k a year in annual dues.
The D.C. Trump hotel managed to make more money than expected at the beginning of 2017 —$18 million in the first four months — due to raising room rates and charging extravagantly for food and drink.
Ivanka Trump has also benefitted greatly from Trump properties, raking in $3.9 million from the Trump International Hotel in 2017.
Be smart: ProPublica included a caveat that "federal taxpayer data is incomplete because agencies are fighting disclosure. We will add more as it comes in."
Now I am sure some mouth breathers will say- but that doesn't show he profits- well it does, because in business cash is king, if he can use "market rates' to keep properties afloat or at least to allow those properties to brake even then any additional dollars go to profit. Plus we know that the windowlicker republican organizations will also book events at his locations to show that support- so that his combined actions act as a way to prop up the business with government cash.

@ Fubar
"Please list out some proof of what he has done to be a traitor? "
if you can real read following
at least some US s soldiers who fought have better conscious than you all - who showed solidarity for Kurdish fighters by wearing a YPJ patch - a symbol of the Syrian Kurdish Women's Protection Units
The patches were banned by officials in 2016 after they inflamed tensions between the US and Turkey
I Guess I could Be wrong right Fubar????

Can i play, Fubar?
That’s because there are laws and criminal procedures for law makers who line their pockets with government $$$ while in office. They still get prosecuted after they leave, if something shady comes up. With your anti-Dem dosage flowing throw your veins, its a surprise you have forgotten the long tradition of Democrat lawmakers who have been busted for exactly that.
Our side of the aisle has been mired in muck and humiliated by “bad apples” since the 50’s, so when our side says “hoky shit, this fucker is scheming and skimming like no one else before him, bust his ass!”, we do that because as we have seen a thing or teo.
We
are
Farmers!
Bam-pa-dumdum-dumDumDUM!

Lock him up.
|
|
Before Lock Him up
“ impeach the mother fucker” lol
|
|
Good luck on both.
If you have pics of Trump giving the President of Ukraine a a lubed up hand job... I’d give you about 20% chance the Senate would convict.
Without that ... There is about 137.2% impeachment would fail in the Senate.
