I've never been a fan of Indian motorcycles.
I was a big fan of the Victory Cross Country but they are no longer produced. The Honda Gold Wing is now at the top of my wish list but my Harley and Suzuki are still running great so it don't make sense to buy a new bike.

Victory smells like napalm.

It was a girls bike, I saw her get on it and ride into the sunset

Polaris shut down Victory product line after they bought the Indian name and started producing bikes under that brand name. No need to have two competing product lines when you are tiny compared to Harley.

Oh, and there is a motorcycle show coming up Nov 22-24 in Long Beach at the Convention Center.
Indian will be there along with most every other manufacturer. Except for Harley. Lots of product manufacturers (helmets, apparel, pipes, etc.) there too.

|
I went to the Long Beach show last year to ride the new Gold Wing. When the show opened at 09:00 am all the Gold Wing ride tickets were gone. People started lining up at 07:00 am to ride the Gold Wing.

Indian chose a retro style when they revived the brand. Until recently, that style, with its fender skirts and leather bags, was their theme on some of their bikes.
I guess it's popular with a lot of people who're into classics and retro style vehicles.
Their newer baggers and Scouts have a more modern style. We'll have to wait and see how successful they are with the brand.

Neighbor has several of the old Indians and they are bad ass...and a new one with all the bags, bullshit and electronics which never gets ridden.

Pushrod engines are obsolete.
Dual overhead cams and 4 valves per cylinder are the way things are today.
If you wanna play with model A's that's up to you.
