Predict that the Raiders get to rubber arm Rivers and prevail tonight.
I love seeing the Bears lose every week because it improves our first rounder next year that we got for Mack. I love Mack and hated to see home go but you just can't sign everybody...if we would have signed Carr, Mack and Cooper, we'd have those great players but would be in a similar situation as the Rams with Goff, Donald and Gurley, financially paralyzed with half a team.
It also helps that Mayock hit on the draft picks, all are contributing and contributing well (outside of Abram injured in game 1), that makes this whole evolution much easier. Jacobs, Renfrow, Ferrell and Mad Max Crosby (penalized every week for BS late hits) are playing significant snaps and making a huge difference. Linebackers, the secondary and of course wide receiver are holes but we have the cap space and picks to help shore that up.
All along, since Gruden came back, the plan has been to be trending upward and be a real threat next year when they move to Vegas and that seems to be the case. Now, if they win tonight and maybe next week they may have a wild card shot...and guess who, Dez Bryant will be available, do you roll the dice on a guy with a ton to prove and a very wide catch radius?

If they would have gotten rid of Carr they would have kept Mack right? I mean you don't gut the team completely and now you have Kyler Murray or whoever. Carr does not get a lot of respect but he is solid, top 10 in most categories and # 6 with a 105 QB rating currently and that is without a decent WR department. That said, Darren Waller is emerging as one of the best TE's in the league and the team was smart enough to lock him up long term.
Not saying that Antonio Brown would have been the answer but it sure would be nice to see what this offense could do with a dynamic WR threat...

Depends which Chargers team shows up. Chargers like to go on late-season runs, and on paper, the Chargers are better. Chargers have finally gotten healthy. Russel Okung, Melvin Ingram, and Hunter Henry are back in the lineup. The problem is the Chargers run hot and cold, while the Raiders have been consistently getting better. I think the Raiders can run the ball on the Chargers and keep Phillip Rivers off the field, but when Phillip Rivers is in, watch out! Raiders pass defense is the worst in the league. But that didn't seem to help Detroit last week, which has a great passing attack. Due to consistency issues with the Chargers, I'd take the Raiders 27-24.

Derek Carr is having a very good year. It would have been dumb to get rid of him.

Melvyn Gordon is also back so that will help The Chargers. Carr, Jacobs and Williams on the Raiders are all great players. If the Chargers can’t stop Jacobs , they will have a tough time winning. It should be a good close rivalry match

Carr has kept his Jersey pretty clean this year, they will have a Bosa problem tonight and will need to control the clock. The line went from Oak -1.5 to +1.5 so there is late money coming in on the Chargers. NFL is so hard to predict...
