Public testimony is going to damage Trump
in the eyes of many American voters. Could well have an effect on upcoming election. Could swing it to the Democrats. Schiff is a former prosecutor and I suspect knows how to put on a case. A actual crime is not necessary for impeachment to go forward.

See, what leftists don't understand is that our Founding Fathers gave us a perfect system which has been corrupted by the deep state.
For example, the President controls the State Department and Justice Department.
However, Presidents stopped turning over most people in these agencies. Thus, these agencies became entrenched with life long bureaucrats, creating their own tunnels of power in those agencies, surrounding themselves with like minded folks, and who have now grown to the point that their loyalty is not to the President or the country, but to the agency, to their superior, to their leader.
Look at the FBI and CIA. Actively working to unseat a duly elected President from the day he was elected. They don't care. They think they are untouchable. They work for the President...but they don't think so, they think it's the other way around!
Look at the State Department. They think they're the ones who establish and set our foreign policy. WRONG. The President does. And when he does, if it doesn't fit into their little new world order mold of how it should be, they revolt against the President, the man they work for.
This post isn't necessarily about Trump, it's about liberals. If the shoe was on the other foot, they would not care less. But if it's Trump being undercut along with our Constitution and our Republic? Then it's "Fuck him, man. Fuck him."
Liberals are so misguided! Loyalty to the party and loyalty to the philosophy...not loyalty to the country, the nation, the republic, or the constitution. Fuck all that, as long as they can get their abortions, free the gays, and raise taxes!

Well said Yellow! Most of these guys don't remember Civics, or the last time a President was impeached. The last time, the republicans had only the house, the dems had the the senate (jury) and the white house. "Slick Willy" Clinton was impeached, but not convicted as the senate (jury) was controlled by the dems. When the next election came along, the dems took back the house, held the senate and the white house. It was deemed the backlash of the people / voters for the impeachment, and the republicans lost their ass! Now comes the dems in the exact situation, only the circumstances are reversed,=. The dems have the house, and the republicans have the senate (jury) and the white house. The dems can't get 67 votes in the senate (jury) and they will repeat history and suffer the the backlash of the voters. Thus endeth todays civics lesson. There will be a quiz tomorrow.
