I don’t know that Kittle, Sanders and Gould would have made a big difference. In crunch time Garrapolo couldn’t throw the near his receivers... and when he did... it was upmost picked off.

Great game. Too bad the niner’s kicker choked.

NFC is a tough conference this year. a lot of good teams

What a weird game...super entertaining but not real clean. It appears that the formula to beat the Niners is to stop the run and make Jimmy beat you. At least now, without Kittle, he looks shakey.
Russell Wilson is the MVP right? At this point right now, who would you rather have at QB?
Had the Hawks and the points, was too chicken to go straight up money line.

The Seahawks victory seems to put the Rams in a difficult spot Playoffs are fading

Really entertaining defensive game.
You could see the difference in Wilson and Garoppolo’s faces at the end. That’s the difference between an experienced Super Bowl veteran, and a relative newcomer. Glad the Seahawks won for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is that hurts the Rams chances of making it to the playoffs.
Great game, and as always FUCK THE RAMS!!!

Next time SF has to go to Seattle.....different atmosphere.
|
|
Seattle >SF
|
|
^^^ +1
A few dropped balls that could have made the difference.

Questionable call by Shanahan.
4th and a foot?He settled on the field goal and lost the game.
|
|
Seattle turned the ball over on the goal line...in regulation and then again in field goal territory in overtime. The 49ers were just damned lucky to even get into OT.

Lot of mistakes on both sides. Without penalties... Niner’s first drive is 3 and out. Seattle penalties kept them alive. Seattle will win in Seattle by 10. (If everyone is healthy.)
Kittles and Sanders being out hurt SF... but Garappalo was missing receivers by 5 ft. High... or 10 ft. Wide in crunch time.
Wilson underthrew that pass by about 6 inches and it got picked.
That game is why I love the NFL.

Your mom should have been fixed.

49ers would have won if everyone was completely healthy and will win — dominate — in Seattle if health is not a factor. Staley and McGlinchey were rusty after being out for weeks with injury, and that’s why, in part, Clowney and company were dominant. Jimmy G will play much better when Staley and McGlinchey get fully reintegrated and when his top two pass catchers — Kittle and Sanders — are healthy. SF’s defense is elite and would have won the game for the 9ers if the 9ers weren’t hiring street free agents as placekickers. Seattle is nothing without Russel Wilson, and that’s why he should be MVP of the league. Pete Carrol is a lucky son-of-a-bitch to have had his GM draft Russel Wilson. Otherwise, his time in Seattle probably would have ended in failure like it did in New England.

49ers also were without center Weston Richburg, who left the game with a hand injury.

49ers could easily lose 6 of the next 7. They have a tough schedule coming up.
They had an incredibly light first 1/2 of the season. Now we get to see if they are a contender or a pretender.
I think Garappolo will crack under pressure.
As far as Russel Wilson... if he is all Seattle has... isn’t that an even bigger reason to think SF is in trouble? They had to stop one guy.... and he put up 27 pts by himself?
I think SF is a pretender... this year. They are moving towards being really good, but not yet. I like Shanahan and think he has things moving in the right direction. But 8-0 was smoke and mirrors Bucs, Browns, Steelers, Bengals, Rams, Redskins, Panthers and Cardinals were their wins. Granted... they don’t get to pick their opponents... but the NFL sets up the schedule like that purposefully. Teams with bad records last year play an easier early schedule in order to allow for wins... that keeps them in the hunt. I think they end 9-7.... maybe 10-6.
I think they beat the Cardinals and MAYBE the Falcons but lose to Green Bay, Baltimore, New Orleans, Rams and Seattle.
I’ll bet 500 Fox points that Seattle wins the NFC West and another 500 that Seattle wins December 29th.

Raiders....
|
|
I’m a huge Chiefs fan. suffering for 30 years.
But right now.... Raiders are the best team in the AFC west.
|
|
I don't know about the best. Too many mistakes and penalties.. They do finally have a running game.
|
|
Raisers are solid In all 3 facets Offense, Defense and Special teams.
Chiefs have an elite offense and a D Maybe D+ defense. They have to score 35 on mediocre teams to even have a shot.

As a Raider fan I'm not drinking the coolaid just yet. Quite a few holes are still glaring, including secondary where the corners are young and the safeties keep getting hurt. Offensively Carr has been very efficient on very short passing attempts because of a lack of a downfield WR threat. We still have to beat KC at their house to claim the west and that will not be easy.
|
|
What may sink the 49ers is lack of depth exposed through all the injuries they are getting. Joe Staley apparently got injured again when he played and is out again against the Cardinals. Ronald Blair III, a key backup on the DL, is out for the season, and D.J. Jones, another key backup on the DL, is out for a few weeks, and this affects depth greatly. Starter Kwon Alexander (L had been lost for the season after the Cardinals game. Kittle and Sanders are day-to-day. How well the 49ers do will depend on how heathy they can be. No bets for now until I get more info.

Raiders' trajectory upwards is very good, but Chiefs are still kings of that division. If Chiefs can shut down Dalvin Cook, they can shut down Josh Jacobs enough to outscore the Raiders.
|
|
Futbol Raisers are?
Flux football.
|
|
Chiefs couldn’t handle Derrick Henry Sunday.
They are hit and miss defensively. They crushed it against Denver... did just enough against Minnesota. Stunk it up against the Titans.
I love them... but I don’t trust them to show up every week.
Right now... the Raiders are playing pretty consistently.
