Ice cream. Petsmart, Target, and some grocery stores have doggy ice cream.
They also like the Kong easy treat, which comes in a can similar to Cheez Whiz.
And, oddly, they love salad. I used to get those bags of salad and pour half of it out on the floor for them and eat half myself. They'd devour it. But I quit eating salad. So, so did they.

That reminds me that my kid's dog like avocado.

She loves the Greenies and the Nutro crunchy treats, peanut butter flavor

I just had dinner and she's was sitting in front of me begging, I gave her a green bean figuring she wouldn't like it and go away. She ate half of my green beans. I think tomorrow when I give her the dry food I will open a can of green beans and mix some in her bowl with the dry.

Filled Hooves.
You can them filled with Peanut Butter or a Bacon Cheese mixture. They love them and it will keep them occupied for a good while.

FYI
Avocados 🥑 are not good for dogs to consume
Same goes for chocolate or grapes.

Lifesaver thanks for that information, I didn't know that avocados weren't good for dogs. I'll pass that information on to her owner.

Beggin strips are BAD for dogs
Never give rawhide chews too
Do research on treats, don't rely on what's on tv
Look into good natural treats.
Ziwi Peak is a dried dog food I use for high value treats

Homemade dog treats. I used to bake these and bring them to the Vintage Flea Markets when I would have a booth. I would sell out of the treats in a few hours.
INGREDIENTS
3 cups (480 grams) brown rice flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup (64 grams) peanut butter ( make sure your brand does not contain xylitol)
2 eggs
1 can (15-ounce) pumpkin or sweet potato puree (not the sweetened pie mix)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. In large bowl stir all of the ingredients until a soft dough forms. (I find it easier to start with a spoon and then to use my hands.)
Divide the dough in half. Using brown-rice-floured rolling pin (or between two pieces of parchment paper*), roll each dough half to a 1/2-inch thickness on a rice-floured surface. Cut into desired shape with a cookie cutter, and then place the cutouts an inch apart on a lightly greased or parchment-lined cookie sheet. Reroll any scraps.**
Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until dry and golden brown. Cool for 1-2 minutes, and then remove to a cooling rack and cool completely.
Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week, or refrigerate or freeze for longer storage.

My dogs like their Kongs filled with peanut butter

Another thank you to MaddMaxx.
I admit that I don't know anything about dogs other than I like them. I don't think that I would want to own one on a permanent basis so doggy sitting for a week or two works just fine.
Thank all you guys for all the valuable information.

It's not a good idea to give a dog too many treats.
Always remember they are to be given sparingly and not to be used as a meal. A treat is something they need to earn
I always do my due diligence as far as which treats are healthier
for my dog.
Don't let your dog beg for food. Remember you are the alpha and you need to
make sure your dog knows this and teach them not to beg for food cause this makes them in
control.
Dogs are awesome and the world is a better place when you have one.
