Be careful what your looking for Taylor, you might not like what you find ~ Dr Zauis.

MEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Got lots of hype tho.

I hope everyone who is afraid of 5G follows their heart and stays away from it.
More cellular capacity me.

Bought some QCOM stock a while back, seems like a good choice so far

5G's is too expensive, no matter how hot you are!

For those believing in 5G causing the spread of the COVID-19 Virus or related to it, I truly wish you the best in your survival.

The good news is that it will compete with your cable system for home internet service. A 5G wifi modem could replace your cable modem. Right now cable is really the only choice unless you have telco fiber. $80 to $90 per month. 5G is advertising $50/mo for similar service (or maybe better).
As the service is deployed, cable will see serious competition as people move to 5G and cut their cable cords. Streaming wins over cable bundles.

+100 on QCOM
competition with cable is good but I dont think that is the primary purpose of 5G networks. But if cable feels a pinch in broadband services it helps keep pricing in check.
Cable having a fiber backbone is the best system IMHO and I think 5G technology should exist at client nodes and not try to be the long haul carrier.

when is this going to be over

5G is more for artificial intelligence, humans will get some benefits, too.
Skynet is coming!

I will never replace a hard-line service with all wireless, unless I had no other choice.
Wires are still better than wireless, even the mightily over hyped 5g.

^ fiber is king... coax is OK,
twisted pair copper phoneline is stone age bit good enough to tell 911 "come to my house quick"
Wireless connectivity somewhere in the middle of that.

Some friends of mine gave ourselves a challenge.
To use only end to end encrypted communications for a month.
It is a might pain in the ass, which is why 99% will never adopt it.
Even if you roll your own VPN, you are ultimately at the mercy of whichever backbone you tunnel over.
I miss the days when the network wasn't controlled by 6 companies.

5G or not 5G. That is the question.
