"we aren't the NFL or woman's soccer" You got that freakin correct. You (John Krupinsky) coach a minor league hockey team. I guarantee that no MLB, NBA, NFL, or NHL coach or a football coach at a Division 1 school will give the same speech. In the past, maybe Bobby Knight but can't think of anyone else. Earlier this summer a star running back at a top college program complained about a sweatshirt (was making some pro-Trump statement) of the head coach and threatened not to play. What was the coaches response - apologize and took it off.
If we learned anything from the Trump years it is that money trumps patriotism.
