NY is doing well now. I have to think that some of that is due to his leadership.
He made a bad mistake. The difference, unlike Trump with his many mistakes, is that we didn't know better at the time.

Look at what Florida did at that same time...they didn't send Covid-19 patients back to the convalescent or assisted living facilities. They isolated them.

We didn’t know it would be a bad idea that putting patients with, what at the time was thought to be a highly infectious extremely deadly virus, into the same building containing a bunch of folks whom a stiff wind could kill. They opened Javits Center and did not use it to its fullest....eventually closing it after treating only 1,000 patients. Trump mobilized the hospital ship and it wasn't used. Cuomo had other resources. New York City got a little dicey, but the immediate decision was to send the Covid old people back into their facilities. That was the opposite of Florida and they didn't have the deaths NY did.

I have a bunch of people in failing health. I'll put a bunch of highly infectious people with them so I can have more beds somewhere else.
While I'm at it I'll turn the felons loose on the public so they don't get covid 19.
That way the felons can kill a bunch of innocent people and create a smaller population.
Also freeing up more beds.

How Cuomo has handled the virus since April has been textbook good governance. Fauci basically said as much. It’s a large reason why they aren’t seeing new cases spring up like they are doing elsewhere. And no, the virus hasn’t burned through NYC. Seropositivities are too low. What’s keeping NYC together in part is social distancing and mask wearing because people there know better after what they’ve gone through.

The hospitals in NY were never overflowing. That's a bunch of garbage misinformation. Were never even close. Trump sent cuomo the hospital ship and turned the javits center into a temporary hospital. Hardly used. On top of that cuomo bitched about needing 40k ventilators, Trump sent 4k and that idiot cuomo put them in storage lmao. You know what you dont do with covid patients? Regarding HCQ, even Alex Berenson the most prominent COVID-19 denier admits that HCQ doesn't work and should be avoided. There are five well-designed studies that show HCQ does not provide any benefit. It is widely acknowledged that the Detroit study (Henry Ford) hospital was deeply flawed. But, if you get COVID-19 go ahead and take it. Hopefully, it will have a placebo effect.

He actually presents a lot of data that shows HCQ doesn't work. And for every Dr. Risch there are 100's of academic physicians, without an agenda, who don't believe HCQ is effective. Get this through your pea-sized brain. The only data worth taking about is from a well-designed clinical trial. By the way, tylenol isn't without hazards; it can lead to liver toxicity which is why FDA restricted the amount you can take per day. Of course, you of all people are concerned about saving lives. If that wasn't such an absurd and ridiculous statement I would laughing until my belly hurt.
